Antique or vintage cast iron with enamel front plate Radio stove door Harwick ??
Up for bid is an antique or vintage cast iron with a white enamel plated front plate stove door. It is marked Radio. In my research. The only Radio stove I could find was made bt Harwick. It looks like the door was chrome plated. Most of the chrome plating is gone, just a little left on some of the edges. The latch is broke/missing. There are spots, stains and a chip in the enamel finish on the front plate. I pack my postcards between 2 pieces of cardboard. Then in an envelope with a tracking number, which results in a higher price than just sticking it in an envelope. This item/items as most of the things I sell. Came from an auction, flea market, estate sale or rummage sale. Offered here is a cast iron door from a stove or furnace AS-IS. It measures 12 3/4 X 7 1/2 inches not including the hinges and closure. The hinges have holes for a pin. The top pin is still there. But is bent. There is a knob for opening the door. It is not marked by the maker. There is normal aging. Please look closely at the photos for details.

1880's Cast Iron Lamp Stove Sad Iron "Radiant" on front.
You are not buying the coffee pot or skillet! For display only! This is a Lamp Stove Sad Iron made by Radiant. I believe it is from the 1880's? It uses kerosene and has a wick in it. It is black with some of the paint coming off. It measures 9 1/2 inches high. The base is 6" x 5 1/2" and weight is about 5#s. The mica is missing. Be sure to check all pictures. This style of warming oven is meant to sit on top of your conventional kitchen stove or wood stove and the radiant heat that rises works to bake pies and bread and to keep cooked food warm. The oven stands 11 ¼” tall. Is 11 ½” wide, and 10” deep. There are two shelves inside. Both shelves are removable and the bottom shelf has a square sheet of metal attached to it underneath for either heating purposes or to keep the flames from reaching anything on the shelves. This steel oven is not marked anywhere ... morewith any manufacturers information. It still has most of its original black paint and the two original shelves inside. The door closes and latches securely. The glass window is intact with no cracks or chips, and the Heat Indicator thermostat is in place and work. I cannot tell you how accurately it works, but I did put the oven on my stove top and turned the electric burner to High– the thermostat started moving almost immediately and went from Low to Medium to High in about 5 minutes. The metal oven does get very hot so it needs to be handled very carefully and not by children. This old primitive oven is in very good condition with just a few flaws. At some point. This oven must have been dropped on a hard floor where it made impact with the bottom right front corner. As a result, there is a minor dent in the steel and the oven does not sit flat like it should.but it still heats up fine. There is some missing paint on the top and some of the silver metal shows through and there is some very light rust coloring. There are also some scratches here and there and some flaking paint.
