Hutch Brand Cast Iron Pot Belly Stove from Lehmans in Kidron OH Round Oak style
HUTCH brand POT BELLY STOVE sold by Lehmans in Kidron OH The stove is solid cast iron and domestically manufactured by Hutch Mfg Co in Loudon. TN. It can be used to burn either wood or coal. This stove is in new unused condition. I purchased it from Lehman Hardware in Kidron. OH in the early 1970's. Shortly after I purchased it we moved to a home with a fireplace and we had no further use for it. It has been stored there in dry conditions in our basement until now. We are downsizing and moving to smaller quarters in the next few months and it is time for a new home for the stove. The dolly casters under the feet& shown in Picture#1 are NOT included in the auction) The stove is approximately 52" tall to the tip of decorative chrome top- 42" to the top of the stove pipe flue- 18" diameter at the top- 18" diameter ... moreat the base- 19" diameter leg to leg- 52" in circumfrence around the firepot. I am not sure of an exact weight but would estimate@ 175-200# The chrome is in mint condition with not even a hint of rust or pitting. The stove iteself is also mint and free of any sign of rust. All parts are there including all covers. Grates and dual purpose lifing handle which serves to lift the lid on top and as a handle for the grate shaker. The stove has draft controls adjustable turn knob on the front door and another adjustable turn knob on the bottom ash compartment. You can also tilt the lid on top tp one side to The stove and its parts are free of defects of any kind. Overall light surface rust. No pitting. Will clean up nice. Bolt that runs down the center is loose& will need to be tightened. You will likely have to soak it with some penetrating oil before tightening it. I didn't want to try because I would likely mess it up. Good as found condition.

No cracks or chips. Each piece is marked Gene 171. This was made by Phillips& Clark Stove Company in Geneva NY. The wider bottom measures 24 1/2" in diameter on the inside, the narrower top measures 21 11/16" in diameter on the inside. The tabs at the top curve in a little more. It is 5 1/4" tall, not including the four tabs. I have taken the sections apart for easier shipping, bolts will be included. Each section will be individually bubble wrapped and shipped together in a sturdy box with compressed packing nuts. My research came up with the date of 1915. So in a couple of months it will be 100 years old. Ready for restoration. You need to come and get this item d/t weight. ANTIQUE ROUND OAK C-20 CAST IRON WOOD BURNING STOVE
This is an antique Round Oak model C-20 cast iron wood burning stove. The ash pit and fire pot are from a D-20 stove. This stove needs some finishing touches. It needs the right swing top and finial. I have the right door plate. It just wasn't on the stove when I took the pictures. The top halfcan is great if to be used for decoration and could be saved to use for burning, but it needs a small repair. The nickel plating was done 20 years ago and has a little pitting but looks great as well. Please ask any questions or e-mail your phone number if you need more info.
