It was hooked up and still being used. It is in good condition with it's only flaw being around the handle of the storage door and the skirt at the bottom is gone. We decided it would be best to have it fully tuned up(get the thermostats rebuilt, valves repacked, and install a modern safety system) before permanently installing it in our new home. I took every burner valve apart, repacked with vintage range valve cream from antiquestoves.com, and removed both thermostats to get them out for rebuilding. I've included an image of one of the thermostats for reference. The Chambers sat as we worked on other projects in the house. As things turned out. Time passed, and our kids get older, our priorities and kitchen plans have changed, and we're reluctantly letting the stove go, acknowledging we're not likely to cross paths with another in our lifetime. Words cannot describe how incredibly awesome these stoves are. I remember vividly the first time I saw it and the photos that drew us in didn't even come close to representing its presence.
