Has the original parts& burner on the inside. Burner has all original caps and knob and handle and everything moves as it should. Even has the really cool cap with arrow on it that moves to show the kerosene level. Even the wick adjustment knob is detailed with a flower. Burner is empty with no cracks that we can see. It has all the metal emblems and embellishments that is should have as far as I can tell. Looks like everything is there and would probably work fine(my opinion) but I'm not an expert.There is only light surface rust as far we can tell and would paint up nice or left as is for that great patina look. The top of the unit opens where it would reveals the burner. This is just a great piece. Not seeing many dings or dents. Maybe a small on here or there. Handle is intact. Coal and wood burning stoves had been the alternative, but they burned dirty and required lots of labor and then attention while cooking. The Florence Stove pictured here burned kerosene. The water heater pictured in the kitchen next to the kitchen sink of the artwork is also fueled by kerosene. You are bidding on a vintage PERFECTION SMOKELESS OIL HEATER. It is model# 140-C(Which I believe to be from 1913) This is in working order and is really cool! This smokeless heater is in vintage condition. And there is some surface rust from over the years. I love the look as is. However, from my reasearch I have seen these beautifully redone, but I thought it was best to let the restoration up to the new owner. It measures 23.5 inches tall x 16.75 inches at the furthest distance between the legs. The vents all seem to work well. And the heater opens and closes nicely. The oil tank is really cool as well, being made out of either brass or copper! It may need a wick in the near future, but the heater lights up nicely(as can be seen in the pictures) And yes, I emptied out all the oil afterwards in order to avoid a huge mess in the mailing process. ... moreEnjoy. Great for use as a vintage decoration. Very ornate grill surround. Directly from the estate of the original owner. Was working when replaced but I did not ask how long ago that was. Whether or not it could be used or restored for use is your decision. This is a mid sized heater. It is about 34 inches tall. 17 inches wide and 21 inches deep. All 4 feet and the rear leg are present and good. Fuel tank is good and reasonably clean. Is this beautiful Condition with Visible Glass Globe Room Heater It Measures about 24-1/2" tall( excluding handle) by about 13" in diameter at the base In Fabulous Working Order Ready for a new Home! Glass is in Fabulous Condition. no cracks no chips that we can see- only a straw mark( please read below for what a straw mark is) from manufacturer on the back side- it functions just fine with this for all these yrs) Wick is in Great Condition& Works& Turns as it should. This Heater was used Little& is all in Fabulous Condition- The clear glass is embossed with a flame design and the name Perfection across the top of the globe Model no. 735" marked on it Straw Mark by a Glass Manufacturer: Shear Mark- Straight mark or scar caused ... moreby the shears used to cut away the molten glass as it was being dropped into the mold. Sometimes called a“straw mark” When the hot glass is held over the mold and just enough is put into the mold. The handler cuts off the molten glass with metal shears, which are much cooler than the molten glass. If this is done just right, so it's thrown to the side of the piece, it blends in with the rest of the glass and doesn't show. Vintage Working Perfection Stove/Heater #500 Wick Burner Kerosene/Oil Tank Type
Up for auction is a Vintage Working Perfection Stove/Heater# 500 Wick Burner Kerosene/Oil Tank Type Complete. It's in good used working condition. The Tank is in good condition with some minor surface rust. The Fuel Gage. Filler Cap, and Wick Adjuster all works good. The Flame Spreader has surface rust and on one side its smashed down a little bit but works fine. The Gallery that surrounds the wick is thin perforated Brass with a small tin handle. The handle has just about rusted off and the brass has three small cracks. It still works you just have to be careful when you take it off to get to the wick. The wick could be replaced but it still has about 1/4 life left. Check out the pictures for they are part of the description. Up for auction is an Antique Stove/Heater Wick Burner Kerosene/Oil Tank Type with Folk Art. I found this item at an estate sale and do not have any information on it. The only writing I can see on it is stamped on the top of the burner and it appears to read as follows: PATENTS PENDING JULY 10. 1900, NOV 13, 1900, FEB 11, 1902" I believe this stove is over 100 years old and it is in great condition for its age. The tank, fuel gage, filler cap, wick adjuster, and flame spreader are all intact and in very good condition. The folk art is beautiful. There is one ding on the tank, but it does not distract from the beauty of the stove, and it displays well. Please closely review all of the photos for the material condition of the item. Vintage Nesco Kerosene Oil Heater Stove Deluxe 510 Black USA
This is a vintage" NESCO" kerosene heater that stands 24 inches tall and is 14 inches at the base. The heater is in original condition. The inside fuel pot are in nice condition. Things that should open or twist do so easily. The heater shows little use and the surface has some rust. More towards the base. The window piece is missing but this piece is pretty clean, some light dust. I was going to repaint it but, just too busy. It wouldn't take much to get it looking new again. We have for sale an Antique Perfection Smokeless Enamel Model 660 Turquoise Blue Kerosene/Oil Heater. This was an estate find. It stands 24 inches in height not including the handle and the legs sit 17 inches apart at the base. The stove was PAT June 17 1913. The condition of the stove is very nice. Some light surface rust and scratches, nothing major. The enamel does show some wear at a couple places. The brass burner insert is in great condition, no holes complete with wick although you may want to change it out before firing it up. This unit has not been tested but I feel pretty confident that it will work fine. I believe it could be polished up to look even nicer. A nice display piece as well as functional. Offered is this fully functional antique large brass Kerosene Parlor Stove Heater. The font measures 10 1/2 inches in diameter. Standing 5 inches tall. The overall height of the heater is 9 1/4 inches, weighing 4 pounds 1 ounce. This features a threaded fuel filler cap, a working fuel gauge and a wick adjusting knob that raises and lowers its 3 1/2 inch diameter wick. Raised lettering on top of flame spreader reads" PATENTED AUG.14.88 AUG.26.90 SEP T.9.90 JUNE.17.90 JUNE.16.91 JAN.5.98" This stove was well cared for and stored away clean. When found in the attic there was no soot or waxy deposits and someone even took the time to properly clean its wick. There is a crack in the side air screen that is not visibly intrusive and will not affect its heating performance(it is shown in detail on the last picture provided) There are also ... moreminor dings and dents from ordinary use. There is a bracket on each side of the font where a carrying handle can attach but we could not find the handle anywhere. There are no leaks in the font and no repairs. This is a working heater and also makes an awesome display piece.

14 years ago. My mother-in-law came to live with us. Recently widowed, she left her house as it was, came to Oregon and said she was never going back home. We told her we would pack her house up, pack EVERYTHING, and bring here for her to sort through at her pleasure. Her house was much like a museum. She was an avid and well known antique dealer and collector in Los Angeles in the mid to later 1900's. We moved over 700 boxes of items from her house. Along with many pieces of furniture. 1 of her pieces has been on the Antique Road Show. I built a 7000 sq. foot building to accommodate all her collections. She never opened a box. She died about 7 years ago. And we have just begun the process of going through the boxes ourselves. It is an arduous process. Some items will go to concession dealers. In good overall condition. Wick mechanism currently does not turn. But probably just needs some maintenance? You be the judge, I'm not expert! All other parts that are supposed to move do move. Is dusty/dirty as found from a Central Maine estate sale. Could use a cleaning and probably a replacement wick. Minimal light surface rust. Antique Barler's Ideal Oil Heater no. 2 Kerosene Room Heater Stove-Cast Iron
I bought this at a local estate sale. I don't know anything about them but it looks to me like that the only thing missing is the wire handle. Everything else seems to be there. The float for the fuel indicator slides as it should. I don't see any holes or really many dents in the tank. The wick does not roll up and down. One would imagine it wouldn't after years of sitting around and the wick will most likely need replacing anyway. The top hinge works perfect for letting the top tilt back. Great condition for someone to bring back to it's original condition. Not much else I can tell you about the heater. I took as many pics allowed for you to judge it's condition. This is for an used Antique Vintage kerosene oil lamp flat cast iron heater stove- 2 burner There are no marking on the stove to indicate the maker. I have been emailed: What you have there is called a Sad Iron(Flat iron) heater. It had one real purpose in life and that was to heat the clothes irons used for pressing the family laundry. They were made with 1.2, and 3 burners. Your heater will heat 2 irons at a time. When electricity was introduced into homes, the electric iron replaced need for the heaters. There seems to be a never ending supply of these heaters on ebay, because just about every housewife had one. Patent dates seem to range from about 1865 to 1901. The large wicks were meant to concentrate a large amount of heat in a small area to heat the irons quickly. You may want to add the words Sad Iron or Flat iron to your listing, ... moreso that the sad iron collectors will find the heater in a search. The heaters are even listed in some of the Flat Iron collector books. Stove was stored in shed so it got damp and temp changing. I will try to describe the stove best I can. Surface rust. Grim, dirt, pitting to the metal and corrosion in the tank. I took pictures of the two cracks to the stove grate and break and missing cast iron on the burner. Two windows are all there with a few lines bubbles from the layers to make the window. Knobs turn the wick up and down. Look at the pictures closely to see the condition of the stove.
