Number of the stove model is No 114. Stove was kept in a family room for many years and is in good working order. Item shows some signs of rust along the bottom. See pictures for more details. It is in beautiful condition and would clean up nice. It is very dusty in spots. It is very ornate and the finial and other iron work on the piece are really in great condition. I do not know how old the piece is. Some light research on the Toledo Stove Company would probably date this piece to the early 1900s. Owner has had the piece in the family for generations and it has been gently used. Kept mostly as a decorative piece in the family room. The cover is about 10 inches wide at it's widest point. It has surface rust. Both pieces are in good condition with no cracks, breaks or other damage. Here we have a nice stove board from WABASH SCREENDOOR Co. of Minneapolis. Minn. produced from the late 1800's to the early 1900's. Designed to protect the floor under a wood/coal stove from hot coals and the feet of the stove. Consists of 2 layers of wood slats that are then covered with a metal panel that is crimped around the edge of the boards. The wood side is embossed with the Wabash Screendoor Co. logo while the metal side has a nice color and design. As you can see this one still has some pencil writing on the bottom/ wood side. Possibly maker and price. This piece measures 32" x 42" x approx. 3/4" thick and is in great condition. Wood side is very clean with somewhat of a very good logo. This is the Wisdom Oak No. 15. Model No. 159 by Wehrle. The stove is in good used condition; all doors are in working condition, no exterior/interior cracks, has only minor observable rust(underside of foot rails) and is all original. It has been refurbished following it's last use(twenty five years ago) and has been used as a room adornment only since. Stove is still fully functional for use as is if desired. Stove measures a total height of 48 inches to the top of the nickle finial, 13 inches wide at the base by 22 1/2 inches deep. The weight is estimated to be in the 90 to 100 pound range. Up for bid and fresh from a Midwest estate is a Vintage Stove Top Finial. Shows some soiling. Scratches and/or rubs here& there. One of the side brackets near the top is broke and missing. Wehrle Cast Iron Antique Victorian Wood Burning Pot Belly Parlor Stove
This is a large. 58" tall, antique cast iron stove. Produced by Wehrle. This is their Model Number 18. It certainly must have been a top of the line model given all of the fancy Art Nouveau cast decoration. It disassembles into very manageable sections. So. Potentially, one person could move and install this. Although, I don't believe that I want to crate up that many pieces of cast iron and trust it to a shipping company, given how fragile cast iron can be. So, either you can come pick it up, make arrangements with an independent shipper, or perhaps, I may even be able to deliver it to you. I would say that the condition is pretty good. These are defects that I have noticed: The finial. The little adornment at the very top of the stove, is bent off center and it is missing one of it's flanking arms. The trim that goes around ... morethe belly is cracked in several places. All the pieces are there and they match up pretty tight when reassembled. They will even stay snug to the stove in the condition that they are in. But again, there are several fractures that segment that piece of trim all the way around the circumference of the stove. There is some corrosion at the pot belly. Where there is a seam between the upper and lower sections. I do not see any clearly evident holes. There are three pieces of trim that rest into the brackets that go around the stoves belly. But until those get repaired, I didn't want to attach them. I have a ton of more pictures available. Although, I could only post 9 on this listing. If you live in the East Coast. Rare Antique Cast Iron Monarch Parlor Pot Belly Stove Wood Burner Finial
This is a very nice. Rare antique cast iron Monarch stove finial with metallic copper finish(I don't know if the finish is original) but the finish is quite aged and has some areas of light surface rust and verdigris, and it shows some darkening from age. It is sturdy, solid, and perfectly useable and displayable, but where the four decorative scrolled corners meet, there are screw holes with no screws. It fits together snugly, but there is slight movement at the corners if pressure is applied. There is one small piece of metal broken off by one of the screw holes, but it is otherwise complete free of cracks, repairs, or other structural damage. It measures 14 1/2" H x 6 1/2" square and the base measures 4" across, including the lip. It will be packed well and insured during shipping.
