VINTAGE PAT1922 Roper Enamel gas stove oven P9736- oven, 4 burner top,warmer+!
This item was purchased at an Estate auction.This is a VERY nice Roper gas stove and oven. It has the number P9736 on the dial. And was patented in Canada in 1922, refrigerator patents earlier than that. Item is large, but still small enough to have in the everyday kitchen. Item is 42 1/2" by 24" and is 54" tall(including the 19" footed legs) Breaking down the dimensions, the top stove is 16"X"20 and 14" tall(top left oven unit) the bottom broiler unit is 16"X20" and about 10 1/2" tall(bottom left opening) Burner top is 15"X20" rectangular(section where burner flame meets cooking surface) and the warmer unit under burners is about 21"X21" and about 9" to 10" depending on how close you want to put to the burners(this is where you would let the bread rise in earlier ... moredays) The four burner units where the flame comes out, three are 4" wide, and one is 5 1/2" wide. There is a small shelf on the right side of the stove, that is included and is about 3 1/4" wide by 1 1/4" and is 21 1/2' deep.To my knowledge all the parts are included, but if you do not see in the photos, please let me know and I will get back with the answer as soon as possible. The item has a black colored edging artistic design on most pieces, can see in photos. This item does have rust, and do not know if the gaskets are in working condition. Item: Fantastic and Rare 1940's- 50's Porcelain Enamel Double Oven Gas Range Stove by Roper. This remarkable and rare vintage piece features 6 burners. Warming plate, broiler, and double ovens. I am not an authority on vintage stoves but during my research I was not able to find a porcelain Roper stove like this one. All handles are intact. The stove is in working order. Age: Circa 1940's- 50's approximate Measurements: 45.25" H total. 36.25 and 39.5" W. And 29.25"deep Condition: I tem is in wonderful original/ vintage condition.

This is a nice working Roper Stove from the 1950's possibly a 1953 model. It is in great shape. The pilot lights and everything works including the oven with the exception of the clock.Its 40" Wide 27deep and 37 from floor to cooktop. LOCAL PICK UP ONLY. Its in a basement and you'll have to walk up seven steps to get it out and its a heavy stove.
