And there is some surface rust from over the years. I love the look as is. However, from my reasearch I have seen these beautifully redone, but I thought it was best to let the restoration up to the new owner. It measures 23.5 inches tall x 16.75 inches at the furthest distance between the legs. The vents all seem to work well. And the heater opens and closes nicely. The oil tank is really cool as well, being made out of either brass or copper! It may need a wick in the near future, but the heater lights up nicely(as can be seen in the pictures) And yes, I emptied out all the oil afterwards in order to avoid a huge mess in the mailing process. Offered for your consideration is an Antique Perfection Smokeless Kerosene Oil Heater No. 130. Patented May 23, 1913. This antique heater is 24” tall. The chrome/stainless steel trim has surface corrosion and can be restored to its beauty when it was new 100 years ago. The patent date is May 23. 1913. The kerosene oil tank has the fuel gauge that shows how much fuel remains in the tank. I have not tested that to see if it is functioning. There is a wick although I don’t know if it is still usable. Wicks are still available online or at some hardware stores. I have posted close-up pictures for your review. If you have any questions just ask and I will do my best to give an accurate answer. Antique Perfection Smokeless Oil- Kerosene Heater Antique Perfection Smokeless Oil Heater. I rubbed off enough of the"patina" to determine this heater has 1900 and 1902 patent dates. There is also a"7 12" stamped in the top of the wick cap(see 2nd to last photo) That may indicate a production date. I think the later models came out in 1913. It still has a good Perfection wick. This kerosene heater measures approximately 24 1/2" tall, 12 1/2" side to side, and 12 1/2" front to back. This old heater appears complete except for the sight glass and would make a great restoration project if you want it to look like new. Or you could leave it as is, as shown in photos, for a rustic addition to your decor.

Tested the part that holds the kerosene and strangely it does not leak at all. Tested with water for several days. Bottom don't have cracks at all as the sides do. Appears the heater has been repainted and looks nice considering how old it is, no major dents, don't see no dent's actually. Being sold as is as Found with no warranty or for parts or repair. Antique Perfection No 1665 Smokeless Oil Heater Vintage Decor Tank Intact
Up for sale is a gorgeous antique smokeless oil heater made by Perfection Oil Heaters in the early 1900's. This is a Perfection Model No. 1665 and was made in the USA. The solid brass tank is intact and inside. Though I am unsure if everything works or if it is complete(I am an estate sale hunter, not an antique stove expert, so I leave that to the buyer to determine) This was an estate sale find, and is in farm-fresh, barn-find condition. This would make a beautiful accent or statement piece, with it's very ornamental victorian filigree cut out detail work. It would look great in any home or garden. It seems to be in fair condition, with wear and tear in the paint finish, this appears to have been pink and cream at one time, with black and white as well. I am unsure what paint color was original, or if someone had repainted it at ... moresome point, I just purchased it because I saw it and thought it was really neat and fell in love. I like the old patina it has, it definitely adds to the character of the piece. One could refinish this, or leave as is. This is a nice large piece, that would look excellent on a porch or hearth. Could potentially still be used as a heater, but I will leave that to the buyer to decide. There are youtube videos on how to light them and people do still use them today as outdoor heaters. Some worn spot on the porcelain, some surface rust on the top- whick is typical. the reservoir looks excellent the Fount looks like it is brass but I am not positive o.k. this heater is a show piece! Original Blue Finish- look at the pictures o.k- I am NO EXPERT in this type of item o.k. so I have posted a lot of pictures-as you can see there is some paint missing from normal use o.k. the oil reserve tank Height(Bail Down) inches 25-This item is untested. the thumb wheel turns freely just purchased from the Old Estate and I have no use for this item- I am NO EXPERT in this type of item o.k. Up for auction. An Antique PERFECTION No. 525 Smokeless Portable Kerosene Oil Heater Stove. Measures about 23 3/4" tall x 16" wide at the base legs. Distance across at the top is 8 1/2" Wick riser works smoothly but the one currently installed is depleted. You will need to get a new wick.still very easy to find at a reasonable price. Some minor bumps& bruises from over the years. Please see all pictures for best description. I have not personally lit this heater but it's all there& there was still kerosene in the tank( I have removed it for shipping) Someone has re-painted this heater& I do not know if it's heat resistant paint or not. In good overall condition. Wick mechanism currently does not turn. But probably just needs some maintenance? You be the judge, I'm not expert! All other parts that are supposed to move do move. Is dusty/dirty as found from a Central Maine estate sale. Could use a cleaning and probably a replacement wick. Minimal light surface rust. Antique Perfection Smokeless Oil/Kerosene Heater No. 630 in blue enamel is complete with burner/tank. Heater measures 24" t x 17" w(at widest point between feet) and about 10" w at top. Does have rust to metal trim and some chips in the enamel. Flame/wick adjustment knob is stuck. I believe due to old gummy wick still in the burner. I do not know if it works but am selling it as home décor. The tank had a small amount of kerosene in it, which I drained, but there will be a bit of a kerosene odor.
