OLD VINTAGE ANTIQUE BECKWITH MODEL I AIR TIGHT ROUND OAK STOVE FINIAL TOP. IT LOOKS LIKE THE SCREW HAS BEEN REPLACED. I THINK THEY DID A GOOD JOB AND IT WILL WORK WELL. THE FINIAL MEASURES 10 1/2" TALL AND THE SCREW EXTENDS ANOTHER 1 1/4" AND IS 7 1/2" WIDE. NICE OLD NICKLE FINISH. A UNUSUAL ROUND OAK FINIAL IN VERY GOOD CONDITION WITH NO CRACKS OR DAMAGE. AS SEEN IN THE PHOTOS. I see that another seller is offering a restored finial like mine and it is discribed as follows.This finial is for a 1910-1916 Beckwith Air Tight"S" model. The finial is a bit over 3 7/8" tall from base to center top tip. 2 5/8" wide at the Florence lettering, and a variable(thinner at the top) 1/4" thick. The base of the finial is a rough 1/2" in both directions and does not have a hole for mounting. A magnet does not stick and we are not sure of the material it is made of. We found no breaks or missing pieces, but the part does have oxidation/discoloration as shown in the photos. A great old stove finial! ANTIQUE 1890'S BECKWITH ROUND OAK WOOD STOVE WORLDS FAIR FINIAL CROWN TOP--LOOK!
You are bidding on an ORIGINAL 1890's Beckwith Round Oak wood stove finial! This Worlds Fair finial measures approx. 10 1/2" tall. And has the crown? at the very top. Base measures approx. 4 3/4" diameter. The finial has the four outer bands that read"Beckwith's Round Oak" and has the center ball/sphere. There is a long screw that goes all the way through the finial that is bent and needs to be straightened. There are some small dents in the base, and one dent in the center ball. Unsure what this is made of. Copper? Brass? This was found in a local estate and is being sold just as we have found it! We have not attempted to clean, polish, or fix this in any way. We don't know too much about it. But it is cast iron, with the top pieces looking like they are brass and copper! The only identifying mark we could find is on the bottom as photographed- BS015" in the casting. The piece measures approximately 9" across the base by 11" high. And weighs approximately 2.6 lbs! This auction is for an antique swinging finial top for a coal. Wood or potbelly stove. The entire piece is just a hair under 12" tall(from the bottom of the base to the very top of the finial) The finial is just under 9-1/2" tall and the base is 2-1/2" tall. It measures approx. 11-1/2" diameter across at the widest part(one side is made flat rather than round) There is a number on the bottom of the base which looks like X-981 or 186-X as we don't know which would be right side up. Ask ALL questions prior to bidding, of course, but we think the base is made of steel(maybe cast iron, but doesn't really seem heavy enough to be cast iron) and we think the finial top is tin. The base is unpainted metal and naturally shows some rust and the finial is painted silver. There is one screw holding the finial on which is obviously ... morea replacement screw as it is not painted silver and doesn't match the others. There are some spots of silver paint loss and scuffing on the finial and the base has sooty type dust on it. As stated, we know nothing about this item so email with questions BEFORE bidding. This is an antique March 12th 1895"Puritan" No.34 oil burning parlor stove and was made by Cleveland Foundry Co. Cleveland. Ohio. It is in beautiful complete working condition. It has a swing top with a finial new mica window, new nickel plating and has a decorative floral design on the three legs. It is a nice small size and measures 25" high and 12" across. With the exception of a small dent + split on the"ball" see last photo) still has some Japanned finish as well. No other breaks, damage or repairs. The base has some of the nickel finish. This deal measures 15 1/2" tall x 10" wide x 10 1/2" from front to back. The knob on the base is used to pivot the top around to gain access to the top plate of the stove. This is a finial top to an antique cast iron wood stove. It has a rustic patina. There are no cracks in the cast iron. The actual finial has rust but no cracks. The hook to swing it on the stove is still intact if it is to be used for that purpose but it can also be used for several other decorative ideas. There is a stamp/name underneath. But with the rust and natural wear it is difficult to make out as you can see in the pictures above. Vintage barn fresh Round Oak model 16 cast iron parlor stove finial/top. Marked on the inside"Mod Oak 16 1908" Base measures 9 11/16" in diameter and it is about 13 1/2" tall. No chips or cracks. Overall light surface rust. No pitting. Will clean up nice. Bolt that runs down the center is loose& will need to be tightened. You will likely have to soak it with some penetrating oil before tightening it. I didn't want to try because I would likely mess it up. Good as found condition.

This old cast iron stove top is super rusty on the right side and front. I believe the cutouts would state. Roman Eagle" although the"L" and"E" are indecipherable. As you can see, the rust has gone through on the right side. The left side is rusty with surface rust. It measures 13 1/4" side to side. 7 1/4" front to back and 8 3/4" high. OLD ANTIQUE BECKWITH I AIR TIGHT ROUND OAK STOVE FINIAL TOP incense burner
This piece has me stumped. I thinks it's from a cast iron stove of some sort, very heavy piece and nickel plated no marks, has a cast iron pot in the center with holes and the handles latch the piece together, the bottom is filled with plaster and the bottom of the bowl has small holes also, 15 inches tall and dent free the top ring looks to be replaced or repaired. Any info will be passed on to others.
