Great old Parlor Stove Finial with a very nice Eagle standing perched with wings spread wide. This old piece measures 9 1/2" tall and 6" across at the base. Constructed of two pressed brass or copper( metal domes with ornate open work centers on a domed base. The eagle is a cast iron. Very detailed 2 1/8" tall piece with a 3 1/4" wide wing span. We don't know too much about it. But it is cast iron, with the top pieces looking like they are brass and copper! The only identifying mark we could find is on the bottom as photographed- BS015" in the casting. The piece measures approximately 9" across the base by 11" high. And weighs approximately 2.6 lbs! This was made in Chicago Illinois. I am not exactly sure when it was made but it is old. Very ornate and decorative utilitarian piece. This stove does need some work and elbow grease. Rare 1890?s Tiger Oak Viaduct 3 Box Wall Telephone with Long Pole Receiver 1905 Nickel Cast Iron Coles Original Hot Blast Finial for Parlor Stove This is a very nice Finial top for a 1905 Coles Original Hot Blast parlor stove. It is in excellent condition. The center screw turns nicely and will dissemble for cleaning. The unit is 12 ¾” tall and the diameter is 9 ¾” across. The ornate lions on the side are 5 ¾” tall. The base is thick heavy cast iron and the upper part appears to be spun brass. The top fancy screw head and lions are cast metal. All are nickel. Coles hot blast stoves were famous for burning cheap soft coal as well as expensive hard coal. Many stoves would not burn the soft coal. The stove would also burn all kinds of fuels. Almost anything that burned. This finial covered a unique smokeless door for adding additional ... morefuels so it was not just a decorative top but designed to open without burning your hands to put in more fuel. Pictured in a cast cartouche is a Native American Indian amongst the urn and rococo style handle with a dolphin or gargoyle. We are not an expert in this field. Chief Doe-Wah-Jack" was introduced when, with the spread of the telephone, customers had trouble pronouncing"Dowagiac" when asking the operator for a connection. Round Oak remedied that problem by providing the phonetic spelling of the town's name. Round Oak was considered the finest heating stove that money could buy because of its quality, durable goods used to make their products. It measures 11" tall and 6 1/2" wide at the widest point. The Indian holds above his head a reef that says round oak-his name appears at the bottom base Doe Wah Jack. Vintage barn fresh Round Oak model 16 cast iron parlor stove finial/top. Marked on the inside"Mod Oak 16 1908" Base measures 9 11/16" in diameter and it is about 13 1/2" tall. No chips or cracks. Overall light surface rust. No pitting. Will clean up nice. Bolt that runs down the center is loose& will need to be tightened. You will likely have to soak it with some penetrating oil before tightening it. I didn't want to try because I would likely mess it up. Good as found condition.

Here is a Antique Finial from a Gene Andes model 417 Parlor Stove. The bottom section is Cast Iron and the Ornament is Nickel plated metal. It stands a tad over 13" and the bottom has a diameter of 12" There is a 1" molded leg protrusion used to swivel the Cap/Finial on and off of the top of the Stove. Likely dates from the late 1800's to early 1900's Condition: Overall good for the age with some surface scratches and wear to the finish but not too bad. Rare Antique Cast Iron Monarch Parlor Pot Belly Stove Wood Burner Finial
This is a very nice. Rare antique cast iron Monarch stove finial with metallic copper finish(I don't know if the finish is original) but the finish is quite aged and has some areas of light surface rust and verdigris, and it shows some darkening from age. It is sturdy, solid, and perfectly useable and displayable, but where the four decorative scrolled corners meet, there are screw holes with no screws. It fits together snugly, but there is slight movement at the corners if pressure is applied. There is one small piece of metal broken off by one of the screw holes, but it is otherwise complete free of cracks, repairs, or other structural damage. It measures 14 1/2" H x 6 1/2" square and the base measures 4" across, including the lip. It will be packed well and insured during shipping.

Up for sale is a cast iron parlor stove top and finial. I do not know what it fits or who made it. There are some numbers on the casting an some kind of makers mark but I can't tell what it is. I'm a lot of help huh! Please see all pictures to help determine condition Thanks. Keith
