Vintage Vulcan-Hart US ARMY RANGE wood/gas/coal 8 burner plate cook stove oven
This is the Vulcan-Hart version of the US Army commercial wood/coal kitchen stove originally built by the Garland stove company for the US Government contract. But has many upgrades. This stove has a large commercial size natural gas burner in the firebox, which likely could be rejetted for propane allowing you to use multiple fuel sources(Wood, coal, gas) It also has a built in cast iron water heater heat exchanger in there. It has a brite"US" nameplate which appears to be solid brass and silver accenting on the casting names and rivet heads. The top is 52W X 36D X 33H. It's real cast iron- it weighs in the neighborhood of 400 lbs. The Vulcan-Hart company. With history back to 1865, still makes high quality $$$ commercial stoves today and the quality and lineage of this unit shows. Built in 1951 according to the nameplate on ... morethe side. It came with a 1947 house I purchased last year. According to the 87 year old previous owner, the unit was bought new and placed in the corner of the living room by his aunt during a 1952 renovation and hasn't moved since. He only used it for extra heating in that large room and never recalled actually burning wood in the unit, and I found only evidence of natural gas use. It comes with the stock"tools" poker, scraper etc. The unused heavy-ass firebox grating for burning solids is in the last photo. It was sitting in the bottom of the ash drawer. It is a bit dusty in the photos and it does have a light patina of rust color on the inside but I know most of that is due to the natural gas combustion residue. And there is no ash inside and very little soot in the flue. I decided to leave it all original and not try to restore it as that might change its value and it does in fact need very little cleaning and perhaps some paint inside to make it look like new again. I found no cracks, scratches, or damage of any kind when I inspected it, and I do feel confident in its excellent condition, but I am selling it as-is, no warranties. It will come with the carbura

One end has a rectangular opening which measures 7/8" x 7/16" The other end has a nub 3/8" tall and 5/16" wide with another nub at edge that is 9/32" tall and 9/32" wide. This is a nice old group of 4 cast iron wood or coal burner grates. They are 3 3/4" tall. The back is 2" wide, front is 1 1/2" wide at the top and about 1 1/4" wide at the bottom. Several of these form a circle in the burner area, they are in great shape, no chips or cracks. This looks good. Items as pictured. I have other vintage items. Antique Cribben and Sexton Stove. I am second owner of this stove tho have stored it for 30 years awaiting purchase of house with a kitchen large enough to accomodate it. I have never used the stove tho cooktop was in use by original owner. Specific date of stove 1915-1918 assuming by patent stamps on various pieces. Issues are predominately with gas supply. The linkage that raises and lowers the oven burner to control oven temperature has snapped tho both cast iron pieces fit and could be welded. The linkage that extends to the front of the stove which allows gas to the oven and broiler is snapped and the front piece is missing(photo) The gas valve to the broiler is missing as is the standard black pipe supply. The firebox liners have been overheated(photo) and do not seem to fit in properly.Homestead stoves for replacements) Also missing ... moreis the firebox shaker. The cast iron vent is intact. Porcelain is good with small chip on one cooktop handle. Only two of the original cooktop grilles available. Oven grates. Broiler trays good, thermometer, and ash pan all good. Expected surface rust on chrome. Great piece that has received much acclaim even tho it sits in my basement. Great for B&B, barn, cabin, etc. I believe restorable with nominal effort. Antique 1910 Majestic wood/coal burning cook stove (great look)
You are bidding on a Vintage 1910 Great Majestic wood/coal burning stove by The Majestic MFG CO. out of St. Louis Missouri U.S.A. This piece has a great look and I believe for the most part is complete other than oven rack. This stove is clearly dated september of 1910(see picture) The exact measurements are 61" tall. 36" wide and 27" in depth. There is heavy rust on inside and not so much on outside, and a small crack on one of the small front plates, but piece is not missing and can be welded(see picture) but not so bad for being 113 years old. There is an advertisement"MAJESTIC LOGO" which is oven temprature gauge and needle, both glass and advertismen are in tact and look great. Advertisement has a great look as it is a very antique lookin clipper ship. All doors and latches open just fine and all grill plates ... moreare there(also including 3 plate rods for lifting plates up) This is a great collectors piece for display and if really serious i'm sure this can be restored. Antique Home Comfort Coal / Wood Cook Stove
Nice early 1900's Home Comfort cookstove. I bought it out of a hunting cabin years ago and until recently cooked on it and heated a portion of our house with it. I replaced several of the firebox liners(available from Lehman's. Kidron Ohio) Epoxy matrix repaired one warming oven door hinge, and installed a stainless steel liner to the oven. The hot water tank is presently located on the left side of the stove and the copper liner is intact with no holes but there is rust along the bottom lip of the tank that supports the liner. I didn't hesitate to burn coal in this stove but as with any antique appliance, the new owner will do so at their own risk. All in all, I think it is in better shape than most of the similar stoves on eBay and that there are years of service left in this beauty. Offered is a cast iron stove eye lifter. These were used to lift the eyes. Or lids, on old cook and heating stoves, as well as agitate the ash grates. The embossing on the handle is too weak for me to read so I am unable to connect it with a particular maker or era. It's obviously an older piece. The lifter is about 8-3/4 inches long and weighs about 7 ounces. I can't find the slightest damage beyond light use marks and some surface roughness. Likely from the original casting. The end of lifting lug is about 7/8 by 3/8 by 1/8 inches, and tapers. These can sometimes be ground a bit to fit a particular eye. The square end is about 1/2 by 5/8 inches. These were sometimes used to adjust internal oven vents in cookstoves as well. I've posted lots of pictures so you can look it over. My intention was to install it in our newly purchased home in the southern tier of upstate New York. Unfortunately it has been in the garage for the past thirty plus years unused. I have never fired it up but the grates appear to be in excellent condition and the copper water tank intact. There are extra cooking inserts that go with it. The color I would call salmon. The cook stove can be disassemble into three sections…the warming shelf. The stove proper and the base/legs…but it still takes two stout individuals to move it. Therefore local pickup only.

We acquired this stove from an elderly woman's farm house that she used to cook and heat her house with up until she passed away 4 years ago, we were going to install it in our log home but my family and I are all disabled now and we can't move or lift any thing heavy or do any repairs to our home so its just stored away in our garage covered up. Mongomery Wards White and Silver Cast Antique Wood/Coal Kitchen Cook Stove
This is a working astove. It was working when I removed it from the former owner all it is missing is the wall plate that attaches to the chimney. Talk about a cutie! The measurments are approximatley 2 1/2 feet tall(those older grannies were short) the width with out the side bar is about 2 1/2 feet. The total height is about 4 feet. It would nicley in a little cabin to use for cooking or heat source. I have taken such good care of this baby since I have had it-but it is time to downsize and let some of my treasures go. The small size makes it perfect for many uses. I never had room for it as a working stove so I used it as a bar area and kept my cookbooks in the oven. Pickup only. Good luck1

Burner plate handle for a cast-iron wood or coal cook stove. This Ideal brand handle has an even patina all around with a wire handle to keep it from overheating in your hand. Condition: Even patina all around. Except that someone had squirted some rubber cement on it at one point. I've removed the larger bits and messed with it enough to determine it will come off with a wire brush, but I'm leaving that to the buyer so they can decide how carefully they want to go about preserving the patina. Nice antique old cook stove for wood or coal with lid that lifts up with a grid for cooking if you like. There is a vent for air in the end and a place to put a chimney on. It measures 14 long" x 12" tall x 10" wide at the steel legs.This old stove has no name and looks rusty but the metal is very solid steel and it weighs about 10 pounds with a sturdy steel handle to carry it.
