Vintage Cast Iron Art Deco Wood Burning Stove Finial
This auction is for a Vintage Cast Iron Art Deco Wood Burning Stove Finial. This unique vintage stove finial measures 8 ¾ inches high. 10 inches in diameter at the center, 3 ¾ inches at diameter base, round top measures 2 ¾ inches, and 6 inches between top of two handles. Unmarked. Fine condition. No cracks or chips. Minor wear on nickel plating. Age unknown. Note the ornate screws which holds the finial together. The handles attach separately through four slots. Finial can be opened to find a bolt inside which I think would attach finial to a swing top, etc. Heavy- weighs about 2 ½ pounds. This is a"Rare" Antique Cast Iron No. 22 Jumbo Wood Burning Stove. Made by Hank Stove& Range Co. Rome GA. As you can see in pictures it's in good condition. As you see in pictures the stove sets on a cast iron plate. It would be great for hunters. Fisherman, or campers to use in thier camp, Or to restore and put in a home or just leave it like it is. Up for sale is a vintage cast iron wood/coal burning stove. It's marked 91 Indian Hot Blast. It's mostly complete but I think it's missing the hot blast parts inside. I was told the stove can be restored and used with out those parts. Believe there is suppose to be a ash tray/pan but that is missing also but that's easily replaced. We've never used it or installed it. Had the intentions to have it restored and use it in our house but too many projects and no time to do it. It's just been sitting in our pole shed. Sold as is. Vintage NoxAll(Nox 18) wood burning stove. Orbon Stove& Range Co. Bellville Ill. Cast iron with sheet metal sides. Not sure of the year. The largest measurements are 27" tall x 24" long x 16" wide. It weighs 60 pounds. Part of the door handle is missing but it still works. Various dents, scrapes, scratches, and a little rust. I don't know much about these kinds of stoves but it looks like it's been repainted, and some of the screws holding the sides on don't look original. That's about all I know about it. I will ship via UPS and only charge what UPS charges me. Or the winning bidder may pick this up in northern Indiana. If you choose to pick it up you can pay for it upon pick up.
