And there is some surface rust from over the years. I love the look as is. However, from my reasearch I have seen these beautifully redone, but I thought it was best to let the restoration up to the new owner. It measures 23.5 inches tall x 16.75 inches at the furthest distance between the legs. The vents all seem to work well. And the heater opens and closes nicely. The oil tank is really cool as well, being made out of either brass or copper! It may need a wick in the near future, but the heater lights up nicely(as can be seen in the pictures) And yes, I emptied out all the oil afterwards in order to avoid a huge mess in the mailing process. This is a Vintage Perfection model 1715A portable kerosene heater with original Pyrex glass. This is a great collectible! great for parts if you are restoring another similar one. There is some rust areas(see pictures) but the metal is still in good structural condition. This would be a great little restoration project. It has a great handle and the heater is approximately 25inches tall by approximately 17 inches wide at the base. Condition is as follows/ shown: Heater is completely original and without restoration minus the 2 top screws were replaced due to being locker down. The paint is fantastic with only a few small rubs to mention. The glass shade is void of damage, the nickel plat is shiney/ bright. There are no dents, heavy scratches, holes, corrosion, heavy rust to mention. The piece still has a wick as shown. I don't believe this was used very much nor has it been exposed to moisture. This was made in the late 30's and provided all the comfort of todays living for the time. As shown in the photos. It measures 24" tall and about 13" in diameter at the bottom. This one is barn found with a layer of dirt from normal use. The porcelain finish is nice but does show a few random small chips. Otherwise very nice and appears to be complete. I could be doing something wrong but I can't get the wick adjuster to turn. Everything else appears OK. We have for sale an Antique Perfection Smokeless Enamel Model 660 Turquoise Blue Kerosene/Oil Heater. This was an estate find. It stands 24 inches in height not including the handle and the legs sit 17 inches apart at the base. The stove was PAT June 17 1913. The condition of the stove is very nice. Some light surface rust and scratches, nothing major. The enamel does show some wear at a couple places. The brass burner insert is in great condition, no holes complete with wick although you may want to change it out before firing it up. This unit has not been tested but I feel pretty confident that it will work fine. I believe it could be polished up to look even nicer. A nice display piece as well as functional. This auction is for 1 Antique PERFECTION Model 513 Kerosene Stove that is complete and in very good condition. Especially for being 90+ years old. The Stove has 3 Burners and is complete including the glass jar that would hold the kerosene. It is 42" long, 17" wide and 31 1/2" high. The glass jar has a patent date of 1919. Antique Oil Burning Perfection Stove SUPERFEX model 101 1E 1930 Large Cabin
Beautiful louvered faux wood porcelain finish antique stove patent dated 1930. Very few of these survived the WW2 scrap metal drives. And this one is in very impressive condition. Gravity fed this stove runs on a variety of fuels. Perfect for a cabin, rustic setting, or as industrial/ machine age decor. I have not tested this stove but it was locked away in a dry attic for nearly 80 years. There is some minor chipping in discrete places, at the bottom of louvers, and in some of the places where heat had an effect like the radiator grills. The over all quality and condition of this piece is beautiful tho. I can't find hardly any info about this model so I am guessing it is quite rare. This is a large stove, but rather mobile for its size, I carry it by myself. It is 38" tall and 18" wide. I will post additional photos or answer ... moreany questions you may have. This is a Perfection Smokeless Oil Heater. Made in USA, with Trademark and Patent No. 630 marked on the front. This Item is dated to approximately 1913. It is two-toned Country Blue and Chrome. It is rusted, but as you can see by the pictures, it is not that bad. I have not seen any pictures of the bottom of this item, so I do not know if the bottom is suppose to look like that. It does seem like the substance is a form of plaster. Item stands About 32" high with handle extended. About 10" diameter and weighs about 5lbs Historical details: Before WW I. Oil companies had horse drawn carts with large tanks of kerosene that would go through the larger cities of America. Fasten to the sides of these tankers were Perfection stoves and heaters that the deliverymen would sell off the cart.
