I acquired this Stove from an older gentleman who told me that his mother used to use this Stove all the time when she would do her canning with several neighbor ladies- out in the barn! He told me that as far as he knows. The Stove works just fine. It is in Excellent Vintage condition- Very Stout- has just light surface rust that will easily remove with a bit of sanding& quite a bit of the original Black paint still remains on the underside. An additional embellishment would be the three White Porcelain Knobs which move smoothly. This Stove also comes with it's original corrugated metal Hose Connector& can be used with gas or propane by changing out the Brass Orifice at the end of the Black Tube in front of the White Knobs. This stove was purchased by a lady new on the outskirts of Shelbyville, Ky. and remained in her home until it was ... moresold in an Estate after she had passed away. The gentleman that I purchased this from is the one who had purchased it at the Estate auction around 1996. With the intent on installing it in his older Shelbyville home's kitchen which was undergoing a restoration. Anyway, he decided to go a different direction on the appliances, and that is when I came to own this remarkable stove. It was late 1996 when I purchased it. And the gentleman to me a story that I must pass on to you. The lady who originally bought this stove had used it daily since new, but being in her late 80's and a widow was pressured by her family to get a"new fangled" stove with autopilot features as they were concerned for her safety with a standing pilot light, and they were even going to pay for it. She refused over and over again until finally one day she said she would accept a"new" stove as long as they had"her" trusty companion"stove" installed down in the basement so that she could cook her Holiday dinner on her own stove. And so it would be! But when the kids were cleaning up the her old house for the estate sale. They noticed how clean the"new" stove was, and came to the conclusion that she had in fact not been using it at all, but going up and down the basement stairs everyday until her death. HMMMMMph? Anyway. When I purchased this in 1996, I took to the local appliance store for a"once over" cleaning, inspection, tune-up as well as having the oven controller removed and sent out to the Tulsa Stove Hospital to have it re-calibrated. I also had the top burners and grate re-porcelained by a company in Tennessee. I was having a"new" Victorian Country built, and this was installed upon moving in. This is a nice old group of 4 cast iron wood or coal burner grates. They are 3 3/4" tall. The back is 2" wide, front is 1 1/2" wide at the top and about 1 1/4" wide at the bottom. Several of these form a circle in the burner area, they are in great shape, no chips or cracks. This looks good. Items as pictured. I have other vintage items. It is missing a few screws and was used in a gift shop as a display, before that it was used to cook on in a Kosher deli, but I don't recommend it for use, it's more for looks now.

Everything is cast iron except the valve units which are brass. The handles are wood. Which I've never seen before on such a unit. The highly raised letter graphics are excellent as pictured. The larger letters have to be about 3/16" raised from the main surface. Both of the top corners have what appears to be possibly a crown and then inside that crown is the words, JEWEL STOVES and RANGES" The arched decorative feet are all fine. I find no breaks, cracks or repairs anywhere. It is in excellent condition for it's years. Because of the wood handles I would guess this to possibly be from the mid to later 1800's. A very nice, unique, ... morecollectible piece. About 23" x 12-1/2" wide at the main unit. About 16" wide to the main gas line. I'll remove the gas line with valves for shipping purposes. Antique Griswold Cast Iron Camp Stove No 402 Two Burner Propane Gas Working
Up for sale is a nice antique Griswold cast iron gas camp stove I purchased from an estate sale. This stove features porcelain handles and is a two burner model. This stove is in fair condition. But needs some cleaning up, it has some surface rust, but that can be cleaned off easily enough. There is some scuffing on the porcelain knobs. It is stamped with"Gris 402 Wold" on the top, and the burners are stamped"1160" In working condition, though because of age I would caution you to inspect it thoroughly before use, when hooked up to propane source it lights, though there is no automatic ignition. Antique Victorian Gas Cast Iron Cleveland Foundry Stove Heater
800x600 Neat old victorian stove used to heat a parlor or bathroom perhaps. The steel body has a cutout design. The base and top piece and lid are cast iron. It contains a burner mechanism and valve- untested for actual use. The door closes with a turn latch and contains what appears to be the original eisen glass. Two more pieces of eisen glass are in the interior chamber. Near the top is a screwed on plate that reads PATENTED JULY 3194(i.e. July 31, 1894) Over the door it says No. 2 CLEVELAND FDY CO and under the door it reads CLEVELAND O. and below that on the base it reads PURITAN Size: 18" tall to the top of the finial on the lid. Interior chamber is 5 1/2" diameter, about 10" across at the legs. This stove is in really good condition compared to others I have seen for sale. It's a nice size. This is a great Jeweled Gas Heater made by W. M. Crane Co. New York it is called a Vulcan Heater. The heater has 12 jewels and looks great with a regular light under it I really could not hook it to gas. It seems to be ready to hook up to a gas line I believe it is complete/ It's old on one side in the back there are some dings in the pipe I'm guessing they could be banged out? it also has surface rust but does not look like it has any major pitting. The gas shut off valve moves very nicely so I think it will work fine. It is old there are signs of aging it is not perfect but over all it seem to be in a very fair condition. Offered for sale is 1 used Odin cast iron parlor stove. The model is Tri-Process. This is the cast iron portion of the stove. Sale does not include the 5 tubes, the piping or the mixers. Some of the original masonry imitation coal chunks are here. But they aren't enough to fill the stove. There is a crack in the bottom of the stove which doesn't affect the functionality of the stove. Up for bids is an old cast iron single burner natural gas stove made by the REGO Manufacturing Company of Erie. Pennsylvania. The stove stands 5" high and measures 10 1/2" by 10 1/2" wide across the top outside rim. The stove is in good condition with no chips or cracks to the cast iron. A couple of the screws that hold the legs on are a little loose and need to be tightened and the stove could use a coat of paint. Otherwise everything looks good.
