ANTIQUE 1890'S BECKWITH ROUND OAK WOOD STOVE WORLDS FAIR FINIAL CROWN TOP--LOOK!
You are bidding on an ORIGINAL 1890's Beckwith Round Oak wood stove finial! This Worlds Fair finial measures approx. 10 1/2" tall. And has the crown? at the very top. Base measures approx. 4 3/4" diameter. The finial has the four outer bands that read"Beckwith's Round Oak" and has the center ball/sphere. There is a long screw that goes all the way through the finial that is bent and needs to be straightened. There are some small dents in the base, and one dent in the center ball. Unsure what this is made of. Copper? Brass? This was found in a local estate and is being sold just as we have found it! We have not attempted to clean, polish, or fix this in any way. An older family friend asked me to help her list this wonderful. Large antique stove in her attic. When I saw it, I was immediately reminded of all those stories I read when I was little that talked about heaters and cookstoves(A Little Princess, Little House on the Prairie, etc. I couldn't believe I was actually seeing one in person! Apologies for the"lovely" attic background. But we are two smallish women and didn't want to attempt to move the heavy piece of iron from the 3rd floor! She has had it"forever, but she and her husband are preparing to sell their enormous house and are finding good homes for their larger antiques: Height: 48" Including finial. Circumference of central pipe: 51" Circumference of base: 60" Marked"Bright Oak" on the front in ornate letters, Lovely iron work all over ... morethe piece. Quite decorative, Made in 1907- see photos. Made of cast iron and brass with an ornate finial on top. Neither of us are experts on this- we expect that any buyer will know more than us. However. It doesn't take a genius to see broken parts or cracks! This piece has none- there doesn't appear to be any damage, aside from mild rust accumulated over 100 years. As you will see from the photos, the drawer slides out, the grate is intact, and there are no cracks or broken off parts. We wiped the dusty piece down with a wet rag before photographing because it was very dusty and dirty(some parts were still wet when we took the pictures. You can see that there is a light coating of orange rust on the iron. And the brass is dull. The stove will need to be cleaned up. However, it will be*beautiful* when it is refurbished- we found a photo of almost the exact same model on this site(for $4800! Please look at the photos for yourself- we took them from every angle with the flash so we could accurately represent the piece. ANTIQUE DOE-WAH-JACK AMERICAN INDIAN FIGURAL METAL FINIAL ROUND OAK WOOD STOVE
Original and hard to find Chief Doe-Wah-Jack metal figurine that used to stand on top of a Round Oak wood stove. Manufactured in Dowagiac, Michigan in the early 1900's. This Indian Chief statue is hollow-cast in a bronze finished metal with excellent detail. He has two feathers on his head; I believe there used to be a third one, but it's missing. The statue stands 11.25" tall on a 2.5" diameter round base embossed"DOE-WAH-JACK" There are two holes on each side of the base, two on either side of his head, and one in his fist that were used to hold a metal garland of leaves that surrounded the figurine, but it is also long gone. The Indian is in very good condition with no noticeable cracks or damage other than the missing third feather. This old catalog has about 34 pages and is in fair condition for its age. It shows some wear and the binding is a little loose along with writing on some of the pages and a lot of prices written down as well. But it's complete and is a fairly hard catalog to find. It's dated 1894 so it has a right to show it's age. Anyway. I don't really know what else to say about it. If you have any questions, do feel free to ask. Overall light surface rust. No pitting. Will clean up nice. Bolt that runs down the center is loose& will need to be tightened. You will likely have to soak it with some penetrating oil before tightening it. I didn't want to try because I would likely mess it up. Good as found condition.

This is a round cast iron parlor stove skirt that goes on a Geneva Oak cylinder stove. Four sections. Three of the sections are nickel plated, one section is not. Overall light surface rust. No cracks or chips. Each piece is marked Gene 171. This was made by Phillips& Clark Stove Company in Geneva NY. The wider bottom measures 24 1/2" in diameter on the inside, the narrower top measures 21 11/16" in diameter on the inside. The tabs at the top curve in a little more. It is 5 1/4" tall, not including the four tabs. I have taken the sections apart for easier shipping, bolts will be included. Each section will be individually bubble wrapped and shipped together in a sturdy box with compressed packing nuts. ANTIQUE ROUND OAK C-20 CAST IRON WOOD BURNING STOVE
This is an antique Round Oak model C-20 cast iron wood burning stove. The ash pit and fire pot are from a D-20 stove. This stove needs some finishing touches. It needs the right swing top and finial. I have the right door plate. It just wasn't on the stove when I took the pictures. The top halfcan is great if to be used for decoration and could be saved to use for burning, but it needs a small repair. The nickel plating was done 20 years ago and has a little pitting but looks great as well. Please ask any questions or e-mail your phone number if you need more info.
