I acquired this Stove from an older gentleman who told me that his mother used to use this Stove all the time when she would do her canning with several neighbor ladies- out in the barn! He told me that as far as he knows. The Stove works just fine. It is in Excellent Vintage condition- Very Stout- has just light surface rust that will easily remove with a bit of sanding& quite a bit of the original Black paint still remains on the underside. An additional embellishment would be the three White Porcelain Knobs which move smoothly. This Stove also comes with it's original corrugated metal Hose Connector& can be used with gas or propane by changing out the Brass Orifice at the end of the Black Tube in front of the White Knobs. Vintage O'Keefe & Merritt Gas Stove Oven Wilcolator CONTROL KNOB valve
OKeefe& Merritt Oven control knob Wilcolator Valve/ knob control Winning Buyer will receive an oven control knob from a Vintage 4- burner O'Keefe& Merritt stove. This stove had both a Wilcolator oven and a center-mount clock( stove burner knob& clock being sold at separate auctions ~ see blue STOVE button below for more) The knob is in Very Good condition. But the mounting hardware internal is bent and questionable, so please bid accordingly. The knob operation is"push in and turn clockwise" Visible control knob surface has been carefully cleaned. Inside is as shown. Please note: I am supplying it WITH the metal outside bezel/ ring or collar. But I cannot assure that the collar will work. The tabs on back side were bent during removal, so essentially all I am providing and guaranteeing is the knob itself. I did not ... morewant to try to bend back for fear of damage. Maybe you can do this better? At present. The knob is NOT retained in the chrome housing, and floats freely. Obviously, you would have to mount it in your own existing housing, and recalibrate with your stove. Chrome has some mild pitting. To be expected. Vintage original 1920's 1930's gas stove knobs- these are used black and chrome stove knobs. There are four burner control knobs, one oven control( knob and three timer/clock knobs. All appear to be black Bakelite. The four burner control knobs have centered stems that are for"D" gas stems. They have holes on one side that are not threaded for set screw. Black painted stripe on the chrome metal face. Face length is approximately 2 inches. Hole diameter appears to be approximately 5/16" The large round oven knob is approx 2.25" diameter, had D shaft and unthreaded side hole for set screw. Small 3 round knobs are approximately 3/4" diameter each is for different shaft. These are in very good original condition with some minor chipping to edges of the set screw holes. VINTAGE O'keefe & Merritt Antique Gas Range Oven Control KNOB & SPRING
Vintage Robertshaw gas oven control knob and spring fits O'keefe& Merritt ranges from the 40's& 50's. Pictured knob and spring is from stove I was going to restore. I decided to parted it out instead. The only parts left is this Knob and spring. No apparent breaks or cracks but was used daily so it is worn, it' s more than 50 years old so the black lettering is faded. The brass stem is 1-1/16 inch long from where it is mounted in the knob. It protrudes 7/8 inch from the bottom edge of the dial. The Spring is about 2- 3/4 inches tall. This knob is used. It is not new, I am not a business selling large quantities of new knobs.
