ANTIQUE DECORATIVE PENINSULAR STOVE CO PARLOR HEAT CAST IRON FOR RESTORATION
An antique parlor heat stove by PENINSULAR STOVE CO of Detroit. Chicago and Buffalo, model 211. This stove is in need of restoration or for parts. This is a pretty stove with both Victorian and Art Nouveau design elements. As it stands it is 40" tall to the top of the brass finial and measures 16 1/2" across and 14" 1/4 deep at the bottom. Across the front of the bottom it is cast WORLD'S LEADER, and a large initial"K" is cast underneath the opening for the flue. The stove is missing the base. It would have been 14 1/4 X 16 1/2. The mica or isinglass panes in the door and on both sides of the stove show some damage and loss. There is a little loss to the iron at the top of the left and right sides where the cap sits on it. The domed cap is cracked, the round plate on top is cracked in two. we have one of the foot ... morewarmer rest, missing the other. There are 2 pieces of a teracotta type material in the bottom and another is like stovepipe the bottom has some breaking through places.The brass finial sits a little cocked.and most likely is missing its scroles. Three(3) pieces from the old peninsula stoves/ furnaces are offered for one price in this sale. 1) is a 19 inch poker with the name Peninsular embossed on the handle on 2 sides. Not broken but shows evidence of use. 2) is a lifter with the name Peninsular Stove Co. Embossed the full length of the handle. Back is marked: B 54. Measures 9 1/4 inches in length. Not broken but some of the surface finish is worn on end where it would be grasped. 3) is the wall placque for a Peninsular Furnace. Would have held the chains that controlled the draft& flue. Peninsular vintage antique wood cook stove
Peninsular stove co. early 1900's don't know allot about this old stove other than it was used all it's life was in service this year. needs some metal work as can be seen it the pictures there's a hole in the back of the ash box. Some rust in the back of the oven, and some sheet metal rust at the top of the over door. restored this stove would be a show piece. use as is, and enjoy the patina. delivery available at extra cost.

Peninsular Antique cast iron wood & coal burning stove "High Oven"
Excellent condition antique stove. Been in the family for years. Restored beautifully many years ago and has sat unused inside of house.The glass on the door(seen in advertisement picture) has been replaced by metal. Other than that this stove is nearly identical to its original condition 100 years ago in 1914! The current price of $1500 is an amazing deal. We need the space and are selling it below value to make room. The nickel plating alone would cost nearly a thousand to have done.

Here is a door for the front of an old oven.I am fairly certain it is from a Peninsular. It measures 7 3/4" tall, 8" wide and 4 3/4" from bottom of the top hinge to the bottom of the lower hinge,weighs a bit over 3 pounds, Nickle plated, no cracks or breaks, has"19 SPE PK" on the back.

Rare 1890's Stove Advertising - Peninsular Vapor Stove - Cardboard
Up for auction is this incredible advertising for the new"Vapor Stove" It’s rare because it was very short lived concept. I guess there were a lot of fires as a result of this invention. I can't imagine how risky it would be to have a can of gasoline hanging above your open flame as you where cooking away. It measures 5 1/4 inches wide by 8 inches tall. The condition is good with some fading/discoloration; it has a couple of pieces of tape on the back(someone put clear tape on the back to keep it from sliding in a picture frame) There are no creases or rips in the paper.
