The gentleman that I purchased this from is the one who had purchased it at the Estate auction around 1996. With the intent on installing it in his older Shelbyville home's kitchen which was undergoing a restoration. Anyway, he decided to go a different direction on the appliances, and that is when I came to own this remarkable stove. It was late 1996 when I purchased it. And the gentleman to me a story that I must pass on to you. The lady who originally bought this stove had used it daily since new, but being in her late 80's and a widow was pressured by her family to get a"new fangled" stove with autopilot features as they were concerned for her safety with a standing pilot light, and they were even going to pay for it. She refused over and over again until finally one day she said she would accept a"new" stove as long as they had"her" trusty companion"stove" installed down in the basement so that she could cook her Holiday dinner on her own stove. And so it would be! But when the kids were cleaning up the her old house for the estate sale. They noticed how clean the"new" stove was, and came to the conclusion that she had in fact not been using it at all, but going up and down the basement stairs everyday until her death. HMMMMMph? Anyway. When I purchased this in 1996, I took to the local appliance store for a"once over" cleaning, inspection, tune-up as well as having the oven controller removed and sent out to the Tulsa Stove Hospital to have it re-calibrated. I also had the top burners and grate re-porcelained by a company in Tennessee. I was having a"new" Victorian Country built, and this was installed upon moving in. My wife and I have enjoyed this stove up until May 2010, when we updated the kitchen with new SS appliances and a commerc

Unit is 20”x10” and about 3.5” tall. Two metal ringless burner pads are clean and free from damage or rust. Temp control setting on the face is darn cute! LOL Two separate burner settings. One for each pad, offer Low, Med and High setting. I get heat from high and med, but none from low. Possibly thats something you can adjust. I am stupid and scared with electronics. Westinghouse logo on the front screams 1954! But I am not certain of the age. The bottom has engraved: Westinghouse. Mansfield, OHIO. Cat. No. HP-521, 115 Volts, 1650 watts, AC ONLY There are 4 rubber toes to keep it stationary. The cover. Be it porcelain or enamelware is STELLAR clean with no chips, cracks or cooked-on icky stuff. Slightest signs of use. Fabric wrapped cord and solid plug. I note a small piece of tape at the base but when peeled back. I cant see why it was placed there. This presents beautifully! As with all vintage electronics this is offered as is without warranty. This is 11# before packing so please expect this to weigh close to 16-18 pounds as I will OVER pack this so when the UPS gorillas drop it from an 8’ conveyor it wont damage the finish. I have no idea if there is any use for these as there is no make. I found them at an estate sale and know they would be useful to someone restoring a vintage stove. Only markings are S-90 in raised letters. These are plastic or bakelite with a chrome strip in the center and measure about 2" There is a dark shading on the finish but structurally they are in excellent condition. No cracks, odors, burn marks, broken or missing parts.

EUREKA ELECTRIC RANGE OVEN PORTABLE BLACK/WHITE ART DECO 1930s to 1950 VINTAGE
Up for auction today… Art Deco Vintage Eureka Electric Portable Range with two fold out burners. Oven/broiler made by Division of Eureka Vacuum Cleaner Co. Detroit Michigan. I found this oven in an old antique store in Morton Washington. The best I could figure is that it was manufactured between the late 1930’s and 1950, and is made of metal with bakelite handles. This stove weighs in at 39.4 lbs and measures about 21” high to top of handle by 14” wide closed and 28.5” wide with the two burners out by 18” deep. The cord and plug were replaced because the original one was in poor condition. I tested the oven and only got 126 degrees on all settings but the oven indicator light did light up and function. The left burner at the hottest coil spot registered 927 degrees and the right side burner at the hottest coil spot got to 932 degrees. The ... morebroil setting did not heat up at all. All the knobs are present with one needing some adjustment and all three latches work properly. This stove is being sold as is for restoration. Repair, or parts. These stoves are beautiful restored. That was my original plan, but life got in the way. I felt it would be better to offer it for sale to someone who has the time and space to restore it. But haven't gone into excessive detailed cleaning as is obvious in some of the pictures. All of these knobs and handle are originally from a Dixie gas stove. But should interchange with some other stoves. The handle measures about 11 3/4 inches long and the screws are 6 inches apart on center. The chrome handle is free of any rust. The white handle ends appear to be bakelite and are slightly more greyish on the bottom side(shown) The Wilcolator oven dial is in very nice condition aside from some paint loss. The chrome ring also ... morevery nice. There are 4 white knobs of which 2 show some damage on the back only- one slightly melted. One with a hairline crack. Both worked fine when removed. 1950's Classic Vintage Welbilt Black & White Apartment Sized Gas Stove Range
A classic vintage black and white enamel early 1950s Welbilt gas stove. Has a great Art Deco look to it. The knobs and handles are pure Deco. Might even be late 40s. It is an apartment sized stove. Rare to find. The smooth white enamel body has barely a scratch on it. These stoves were known to take beatings. I see no enamel loss on the body. Unbelievably. The long stain in the front is just old masking tape that should come off easily with any type of adhesive remover. It is rare to see such a small stove and so complete. Retains it's original white enamel lid for covering the range for a very neat look. The original paper"Welbilt" label is in the back inside of the range top. The only enamel issue I see is on the lid cover itself which is a little beat up, with some enamel chips and loss and stains and at the very top back ... moreof the stove where the vents are) However, the body is just exceptional. This stove can be a real gem with very little restoration and would look amazing in any retro kitchen. 3' high x 1' 8" wide. The stove was kept down a very clean. Finished basement of an old Brooklyn estate for over forty years. It is unbelievably clean and knowing the family that it came from, it was probably used from when it was first purchased until the mid 1960s, at the latest. This is a great deal and it is not being reduced in price again. This is my rock bottom on the stove and it will be listed on craigslist for $175.00 if it doesn't sell on ebay. It will not be reduced furtther. There is no guarantee that it would work but I don't see why it shouldn't. Of course it will need to be checked out by a good appliance person. No returns. As is. Up for auction is this very cool.New Old Stock.large appliance handle done in the art deco style. This handle comes to you brand new in the box and is marked.1-666-D-14.HANDLE.also handwritten on the box is.666R14.888Range.7530. This is a vintage stove or range hande.the ends are black bakelite or heavy vintage plastic of some type.the white arched handle has a metal chrome strip along the center from side to side.the white part of this handle is metal.I believe it dates back to the 50's etc. and was found when an old appliance shop closed up in their inventory. I am unsure of the make.but it resembles others I've seen like O'Keefe& Merritt. Magic Chef, Wedgewood etc. The handle measures 8" long and has 2 screw holes on each side to choose from.I should have taken a picture of that I guess.I believe it was a standard ... moresize though so if you have any questions please feel free to ask.
