Vintage Vulcan-Hart US ARMY RANGE wood/gas/coal 8 burner plate cook stove oven
This is the Vulcan-Hart version of the US Army commercial wood/coal kitchen stove originally built by the Garland stove company for the US Government contract. But has many upgrades. This stove has a large commercial size natural gas burner in the firebox, which likely could be rejetted for propane allowing you to use multiple fuel sources(Wood, coal, gas) It also has a built in cast iron water heater heat exchanger in there. It has a brite"US" nameplate which appears to be solid brass and silver accenting on the casting names and rivet heads. The top is 52W X 36D X 33H. It's real cast iron- it weighs in the neighborhood of 400 lbs. The Vulcan-Hart company. With history back to 1865, still makes high quality $$$ commercial stoves today and the quality and lineage of this unit shows. Built in 1951 according to the nameplate on ... morethe side. It came with a 1947 house I purchased last year. According to the 87 year old previous owner, the unit was bought new and placed in the corner of the living room by his aunt during a 1952 renovation and hasn't moved since. He only used it for extra heating in that large room and never recalled actually burning wood in the unit, and I found only evidence of natural gas use. It comes with the stock"tools" poker, scraper etc. The unused heavy-ass firebox grating for burning solids is in the last photo. It was sitting in the bottom of the ash drawer. It is a bit dusty in the photos and it does have a light patina of rust color on the inside but I know most of that is due to the natural gas combustion residue. And there is no ash inside and very little soot in the flue. I decided to leave it all original and not try to restore it as that might change its value and it does in fact need very little cleaning and perhaps some paint inside to make it look like new again. I found no cracks, scratches, or damage of any kind when I inspected it, and I do feel confident in its excellent condition, but I am selling it as-is, no warranties. It will come with the carbura

Here is an extremely clean antique Grand Stove by Cleveland Stove Works. I'm guessing from the 1920s or 30s. It is in complete working order. Has the original racks and burners! Pristine clean set of vintage stoneware pottery SALT and PEPPER shakers. Heavy. With embossed SALT and PEPPER on both sides of the shakers. The plastic stoppers are marked Niagra Erie, PA. Nice blue glazing, no chips or cracks. I notice the stoppers don't fit as tightly as I would prefer, but a piece of tape wrapped around the stopper should tighten them right up. Right now, they fit tight enough to stay in place with the shakers empty. These measure a good 4 3/4" tall and 2 3/4" wide(not including the handles) a good large size. EUREKA ELECTRIC RANGE OVEN PORTABLE BLACK/WHITE ART DECO 1930s to 1950 VINTAGE
Up for auction today… Art Deco Vintage Eureka Electric Portable Range with two fold out burners. Oven/broiler made by Division of Eureka Vacuum Cleaner Co. Detroit Michigan. I found this oven in an old antique store in Morton Washington. The best I could figure is that it was manufactured between the late 1930’s and 1950, and is made of metal with bakelite handles. This stove weighs in at 39.4 lbs and measures about 21” high to top of handle by 14” wide closed and 28.5” wide with the two burners out by 18” deep. The cord and plug were replaced because the original one was in poor condition. I tested the oven and only got 126 degrees on all settings but the oven indicator light did light up and function. The left burner at the hottest coil spot registered 927 degrees and the right side burner at the hottest coil spot got to 932 degrees. The ... morebroil setting did not heat up at all. All the knobs are present with one needing some adjustment and all three latches work properly. This stove is being sold as is for restoration. Repair, or parts. These stoves are beautiful restored. That was my original plan, but life got in the way. I felt it would be better to offer it for sale to someone who has the time and space to restore it. 1950's Classic Vintage Welbilt Black & White Apartment Sized Gas Stove Range
A classic vintage black and white enamel early 1950s Welbilt gas stove. Has a great Art Deco look to it. The knobs and handles are pure Deco. Might even be late 40s. It is an apartment sized stove. Rare to find. The smooth white enamel body has barely a scratch on it. These stoves were known to take beatings. I see no enamel loss on the body. Unbelievably. The long stain in the front is just old masking tape that should come off easily with any type of adhesive remover. It is rare to see such a small stove and so complete. Retains it's original white enamel lid for covering the range for a very neat look. The original paper"Welbilt" label is in the back inside of the range top. The only enamel issue I see is on the lid cover itself which is a little beat up, with some enamel chips and loss and stains and at the very top back ... moreof the stove where the vents are) However, the body is just exceptional. This stove can be a real gem with very little restoration and would look amazing in any retro kitchen. 3' high x 1' 8" wide. The stove was kept down a very clean. Finished basement of an old Brooklyn estate for over forty years. It is unbelievably clean and knowing the family that it came from, it was probably used from when it was first purchased until the mid 1960s, at the latest. This is a great deal and it is not being reduced in price again. This is my rock bottom on the stove and it will be listed on craigslist for $175.00 if it doesn't sell on ebay. It will not be reduced furtther. There is no guarantee that it would work but I don't see why it shouldn't. Of course it will need to be checked out by a good appliance person. No returns. As is. And make every attempt to mention loose pages. Stains, tears, binding damage, etc. Sometimes I find that an item falls between two grades. In which case I will list it with a two-grade scale. NEAR MINT- MINT: I rarely use these grades. Except when an item is in truly exceptional condition. VERY FINE: very nice with virtually no major defects. FINE+: an even nicer copy. With minimal obvious defects. FINE: a nice copy. Flat with minor creases; may have some spine stress, but no prominent defects. FINE- better than VG+ but just a bit short of what I would consider Fine. VERY GOOD+: most of the items I list fall into this grade; a typical read item with obvious defects as ... morenoted. This is a vintage stove or range hande.the ends are black bakelite or heavy vintage plastic of some type.the white arched handle has a metal chrome strip along the center from side to side.the white part of this handle is metal.I believe it dates back to the 50's etc. and was found when an old appliance shop closed up in their inventory. I am unsure of the make.but it resembles others I've seen like O'Keefe& Merritt. 1953 Vintage antique HOME COMFORT E-1 electric cooking stove range oven IT WORKS
Vintage Home Comfort E-1 electric cooking stove. This stove worked when my step-grandpa last used it. After testing it recently. I found that both the upper and lower coils in the oven heat up, as can be seen in the photo, so the oven works. All four burners also heat as they should. I cannot get the dial to turn to test the middle"deep well. However, I may have been doing something wrong as I initially thought the oven was not working until I found the manual, which also goes along with the auction, and realized I just had it in the wrong mode. I should have re-tested the deep well dial after finding the manual, but I forgot to, and the stove is almost 2 hours from us. The plastic/glass cover is missing off the timer, and I did not test the timer. It has been kept in his kitchen in his heated home for the last ten years. It is as is ... morebut most everything appears to be working. The burners and oven definitely work. It is about 40 inches wide by about 27 inches deep(including the handles out front) and the height from the floor to the top is about 37 inches plus about another 9 inches for the area where the dials are located. The manual along with various other documents, like a bill of sale and original purchase letter from the company are also included. This was bought in 1953 brand new and my step-grandpa's family was the original and only owner. This item ships from a smoke-free building. 1953 Frigidaire by GM electric Range Vintage Stove
I am parting with an antique 1942 electric range. The pictures do not do it justice. The range works. The oven is not working. It could easily be retrofitted. This is truly a one of a kind item. It's a gorgeous sea foam green. It has the appearance of an old car. The oven light is still in working order as well as the chrome overhead light. The timer and the clock are also in working order. This was made during WW2 and is very very rare for such a heavy metal stove to be made during that time. You'll never see another one like it.
