Even has the really cool cap with arrow on it that moves to show the kerosene level. Even the wick adjustment knob is detailed with a flower. Burner is empty with no cracks that we can see. It has all the metal emblems and embellishments that is should have as far as I can tell. Looks like everything is there and would probably work fine(my opinion) but I'm not an expert.There is only light surface rust as far we can tell and would paint up nice or left as is for that great patina look. The top of the unit opens where it would reveals the burner. This is just a great piece. Not seeing many dings or dents. Maybe a small on here or there. Handle is intact. This is a nice example of a rare and hard to find in this condition of a table top stove or a portable stove for use in trailers. I have seen these in old movies where they show low income tenant apartment living. I do not know how many models were made but this stove is the first model. The etched lettering on the front reads. MEDAL-O OIL STOVE/ A GOLD METAL PRODUCT/ BROOKLYN, 23 N.Y. MADE IN U.S.A. For sale is a" STEWART" stove door. Found this all metal greyish and white door without the stove anywhere in sight. Awaits your project or decor. This door is for either an old gas or wood cooking stove and is in pretty good shape. There are no hinges and the back(see pictures) has'holes' where the hinges once were. Also is missing a couple bolts/screws(could be hinge related) The front does have some staining and rust spots(mainly around the edges) but otherwise looks nice. Has" STEWART" written right in the middle. About 19 1/2" long. 12 3/4" wide, and weighs around 10 1/2 pounds. A solid piece that I could not pass up and know someone has a great use for. I'm not quite sure what I have here but I think it is an old fuel tank for a kerosene heater/cook stove. I believe it is mounted upside down and the pin in the fuel cap regulates the flow of fuel to the appliance. The tank appears to be in very good condition. It measures approximately 10 inches long and 4 1/2 inches across the end. Sold as-is.
