The gentleman that I purchased this from is the one who had purchased it at the Estate auction around 1996. With the intent on installing it in his older Shelbyville home's kitchen which was undergoing a restoration. Anyway, he decided to go a different direction on the appliances, and that is when I came to own this remarkable stove. It was late 1996 when I purchased it. And the gentleman to me a story that I must pass on to you. The lady who originally bought this stove had used it daily since new, but being in her late 80's and a widow was pressured by her family to get a"new fangled" stove with autopilot features as they were concerned for her safety with a standing pilot light, and they were even going to pay for it. She refused over and over again until finally one day she said she would accept a"new" stove as long as they had"her" trusty companion"stove" installed down in the basement so that she could cook her Holiday dinner on her own stove. And so it would be! But when the kids were cleaning up the her old house for the estate sale. They noticed how clean the"new" stove was, and came to the conclusion that she had in fact not been using it at all, but going up and down the basement stairs everyday until her death. HMMMMMph? Anyway. When I purchased this in 1996, I took to the local appliance store for a"once over" cleaning, inspection, tune-up as well as having the oven controller removed and sent out to the Tulsa Stove Hospital to have it re-calibrated. I also had the top burners and grate re-porcelained by a company in Tennessee. I was having a"new" Victorian Country built, and this was installed upon moving in. My wife and I have enjoyed this stove up until May 2010, when we updated the kitchen with new SS appliances and a commerc

Vintage Vulcan-Hart US ARMY RANGE wood/gas/coal 8 burner plate cook stove oven
This is the Vulcan-Hart version of the US Army commercial wood/coal kitchen stove originally built by the Garland stove company for the US Government contract. But has many upgrades. This stove has a large commercial size natural gas burner in the firebox, which likely could be rejetted for propane allowing you to use multiple fuel sources(Wood, coal, gas) It also has a built in cast iron water heater heat exchanger in there. It has a brite"US" nameplate which appears to be solid brass and silver accenting on the casting names and rivet heads. The top is 52W X 36D X 33H. It's real cast iron- it weighs in the neighborhood of 400 lbs. The Vulcan-Hart company. With history back to 1865, still makes high quality $$$ commercial stoves today and the quality and lineage of this unit shows. Built in 1951 according to the nameplate on ... morethe side. It came with a 1947 house I purchased last year. According to the 87 year old previous owner, the unit was bought new and placed in the corner of the living room by his aunt during a 1952 renovation and hasn't moved since. He only used it for extra heating in that large room and never recalled actually burning wood in the unit, and I found only evidence of natural gas use. It comes with the stock"tools" poker, scraper etc. The unused heavy-ass firebox grating for burning solids is in the last photo. It was sitting in the bottom of the ash drawer. It is a bit dusty in the photos and it does have a light patina of rust color on the inside but I know most of that is due to the natural gas combustion residue. And there is no ash inside and very little soot in the flue. I decided to leave it all original and not try to restore it as that might change its value and it does in fact need very little cleaning and perhaps some paint inside to make it look like new again. I found no cracks, scratches, or damage of any kind when I inspected it, and I do feel confident in its excellent condition, but I am selling it as-is, no warranties. It will come with the carbura

VINTAGE PAT1922 Roper Enamel gas stove oven P9736- oven, 4 burner top,warmer+!
This item was purchased at an Estate auction.This is a VERY nice Roper gas stove and oven. It has the number P9736 on the dial. And was patented in Canada in 1922, refrigerator patents earlier than that. Item is large, but still small enough to have in the everyday kitchen. Item is 42 1/2" by 24" and is 54" tall(including the 19" footed legs) Breaking down the dimensions, the top stove is 16"X"20 and 14" tall(top left oven unit) the bottom broiler unit is 16"X20" and about 10 1/2" tall(bottom left opening) Burner top is 15"X20" rectangular(section where burner flame meets cooking surface) and the warmer unit under burners is about 21"X21" and about 9" to 10" depending on how close you want to put to the burners(this is where you would let the bread rise in earlier ... moredays) The four burner units where the flame comes out, three are 4" wide, and one is 5 1/2" wide. There is a small shelf on the right side of the stove, that is included and is about 3 1/4" wide by 1 1/4" and is 21 1/2' deep.To my knowledge all the parts are included, but if you do not see in the photos, please let me know and I will get back with the answer as soon as possible. The item has a black colored edging artistic design on most pieces, can see in photos. This item does have rust, and do not know if the gaskets are in working condition. Magee Boston stove vintage antique gas oven
From 1940's and is what is referred to as an"apartment stove" It is in great condition was stored since new and only used in our kitchen for last few years. There are two sides one to cook on(natural gas) and the other side was designed to heat the house(not connected but I believe it can be set up to run on#2 oil or kerosene and I have the directions) Details: Approx 40" wide White unblemished enamel top hingedcovers White enamel and black trim front and sides 12" backslash hood(with working clock. Working temperature gauge- over reads by about 50 degrees, storage compartment, and a under the hood light- no bulb installed) To the right of the oven is a compartment to store pots and pans and has shiny chrome trim all around unit. Regarding the oven/cooking side(about 60% of the stove) it was professionally serviced ... moreand had the thermostat/oven regulator redone when we installed it in our home. It has four burners which provide a beautiful blue flame and an auto pilot for burners. Regarding the heater side(about 40% of the stove) all components are there and has cast iron plates that cover the top which makes great space to use for prepping food or keeping things warm(does get warm/hot when stove is in use) It is currently connected(until 6/11) so you can see for yourself not only how beautiful it looks but how well it functionally works. Classic vintage stove early model Wedgewood oven and stove, oven, gas oven grill
This stove was pulled out of a house. For remodeling when home was up for sale. We assume it works, and every dial and drawer feels good. It is sold as is. Which is a very low price for this particular stove. I did some restoration and paint work with high temp enamel for inside. Top opens like new with original spring. Was a low use piece. Wedgewood stoves were made in the 1930s. 1940s and 1950s. James Graham opened the first Wedgewood factory in 1919, and the company survived for several decades, becoming renowned for their products' quality and durability.
