This is a antique/ vintage cast iron pot belly stove made be S.S. R Co. in Rome. Georgia. It is called a Raven, NO. 66. It is 28" tall. It is 12" across. There is a 6 1/2" plate that lifts off. The front door measures 4" x 5 1/2" It has a draft control in it which operates freely. The lower door measures 9" x 3 1/2" and has an air adjustment screw turn that operates freely. The base is 14" square and the legs hold the stove 7 3/4" off the floor. There is also a grate inside the stove. It weights about 60lbs. I purchased this stove with the intention of hooking it up in one of our bedrooms. But found that it was not allowed under our local code so now it needs a new home. Great lot here. I have no idea how old they are or what they fit. Maybe a how comfort but in no way do I guarantee that.SOme of them have several chips around the rim. They have a lot of tarnishing surface rust and some pitting. the spacer that goes in between two eyes is a little bowed and has a crack. They need a good cleaning. The larger eyes measure approx 7 15/16 and the one with holes and writing measures 6 3/4. Even with the condition these are hard to find and im starting them at a very reasonable price. Antique or vintage cast iron with enamel front plate Radio stove door Harwick ??
Up for bid is an antique or vintage cast iron with a white enamel plated front plate stove door. It is marked Radio. In my research. The only Radio stove I could find was made bt Harwick. It looks like the door was chrome plated. Most of the chrome plating is gone, just a little left on some of the edges. The latch is broke/missing. There are spots, stains and a chip in the enamel finish on the front plate. I pack my postcards between 2 pieces of cardboard. Then in an envelope with a tracking number, which results in a higher price than just sticking it in an envelope. This item/items as most of the things I sell. This stove belonged to an aunt of mine who died some 20yrs ago in her 80's. I do not know if this was a toy of hers or a salesman sample. It is a Crescent stove. Has 15 pieces to it. I will admit it is dusty but am leaving the cleaning to its new owner. The stove is 6" x 4"x 4.75" to that one must had the shelves and the stovepipe. There are a coal shuttle, and shovel, a cauldron, a frying pan,a large pot. Each burner has a disc, and the stovepipe and grill work are seperate. This is a very cool old stove that was found in outdoor st orage. Hence the rust. The maker was known for manufacturing ovens and stoves. I would guess the date to be early 1900's? This is made of cast iron. And I can only guess that it was some kind of stove or grill? There is a heating element in the center and inlets for what I wou l d assume to be a gas supply. There also look s to be a center grate that's missing as well as an exterior guard that's missing. One of the g rates has a small hairline crack. The lid is also a snuffer to douse the flames when you are through heating a small pot or kettle. The pot/kettle supports are the folding type as seen in the photos. The lid fits tightly and will not rattle off when put on properly. The burner action is the pad type. there is no pressure. just some substance underneath a metal screen(metal screen is loose) that holds alcohol while it burns. To operate the stove. remove the top cap with sun logo cap. flip up the pot supports. ... morepour in some alcohol and light it. When finished. fold the supports down and put the lid on. From 1940's and is what is referred to as an"apartment stove" It is in great condition was stored since new and only used in our kitchen for last few years. There are two sides one to cook on(natural gas) and the other side was designed to heat the house(not connected but I believe it can be set up to run on#2 oil or kerosene and I have the directions) Details: Approx 40" wide White unblemished enamel top hingedcovers White enamel and black trim front and sides 12" backslash hood(with working clock. Working temperature gauge- over reads by about 50 degrees, storage compartment, and a under the hood light- no bulb installed) To the right of the oven is a compartment to store pots and pans and has shiny chrome trim all around unit. Regarding the oven/cooking side(about 60% of the stove) it was professionally serviced ... moreand had the thermostat/oven regulator redone when we installed it in our home. It has four burners which provide a beautiful blue flame and an auto pilot for burners. Regarding the heater side(about 40% of the stove) all components are there and has cast iron plates that cover the top which makes great space to use for prepping food or keeping things warm(does get warm/hot when stove is in use) It is currently connected(until 6/11) so you can see for yourself not only how beautiful it looks but how well it functionally works. Up for auction are original Fisher Stove Bear feet. They are in poor condition but could be brought back to life. One as shown in the pictures is cracked in half and needs to be welded. They all say FISHER STOVE on the front. Much of the nickel plating is worn off on all four feet. Still these are hard to find and with some TLC make a nice addition to any Fisher Stove! The"Free Shipping" Ebay displays when there is no shipping seems to over shadow the"Local Pickup Only" statement. I have had two sales. One to California and one to Brazil. That had to be cancelled because they thought I was delivering free. I am in Baton Rouge. LA. It is ready for natural gas and can be changed to propane. This is a beautiful Deluxe Okeefe& Merritt. This stove is like new although it is 60+ years old. My refurbisher has been doing this over 40 years. I bought this one in Marion. Texas. This stove was originally white and in good shape. I had a total refurbishment done with new cobalt blue porcelain, all new chrome and granite. Has restored clock, timer, salt and pepper shakers and two electrical plugs ... morein front for convenience. Has a light above the range and in the oven.The grill has a gauge that has"cold" bake" and"too hot" readings. Has a window oven on the right, Grillavator" oven on the left, a storage drawer under it next to a broiler on the right. Please forgive poor picture quality. These pictures do not do it justice. Reflections casted rust colors on new chrome. Listed below are some of the things refurbished. Electric- cord. Etc for lights, dry rot and all corrosive connections restored. Insulation- All new! Insulation collapes and settles and loses effectiveness of gas off cooking. Safety- All new gas safety system. New pilot lights. Including oven. No more lighting with a match. Mechanical- All re-stored gas pipes. Joints, etc. New flash tubes and thermostats. Granite- All new on burners. Grates and pans. Porcelain- New Chrome- New This is what a full restoration looks like. Some listings may have replaced a thermostat or have had a professional clean the stove and state restored/refurbished in the listing.
