This is an original circa 1900 Victorian Palace Oak parlor stove with a cook top(according to description on back of stove)If I am understanding this correctly the top is a cooking surface as well as being a parlor stove so there likely was never a crown/pediment on the top. It is in as found condition with surface rust and one side piece needs repair.Very ornate stove and a great restoration project or re-purpose it! this is from an estate. Victorian iron bronze parlor stove
This is quite an unusual item. A late Victorian antique iron and bronze stove. Really a neat looking item in very good condition(there is a crack in the round plate on the top-but secure) A flat upper and a flat lower surface with a drawer on one side. I really like the round'globe' under the top. Note the very detailed and interesting lion head feet. Would make a great table. Overall height 37 Width: 32 Depth: 18. If you have any questions. ANTIQUE COX WHITEMAN CO VICTORIAN PARLOR WOOD STOVE 1866
Up for sale is a great fresh find from an old Estate. This is a" COX WHITEMAN CO. Philadelphia. PA. Circa 1866. Antique cast iron parlor wood stove. The fire box measures 21 inches L x 16 inches H. x 9 inches W, this is just the inside of the fire box, the chimney exchaust is 5 inches in Dia. Everything is in working condition ready to go. The legs are missing but I still might find them in the building. It could be set on four bricks until something is found or made. The orginal legs slide on just like the old claw foot bathtubs are made. Like a wedge. Even a piece of hard wood would work. These bring good money as collectible stoves even without the feet. The stove had some minor surface rust so it was clean off and painted with Rust O Leum Hight Heat resistant paint. Looks great. Questions welcome. Thanks for looking and good luck.

As you can see I have NICKLE PLATED all the predominant pieces. there are 2 beautiful Victorian ladies, one on each side, the top, grill, drawer, front hanging door and the hearth. Antique cast iron firedogs? stove parts? Measure 21 3/4" long x 8 1/2" wide at"legs" with an ornate design. Legs" are fancier on one side of each firedog than the other, the fancier legs have tabs in the tips which would have fit into something. On the underside there are the numbers 18 and 99. Firedogs are in good structural condition but are very rusty. There are bits of old chrome plating? that show a bit on one.

There is a name and# on it the# I'm not sure it's 605 or 606 or it could even be 90 something. Also the name I can't make it out I can see a couple of letters on it but not sure what the last two are. Missing 2 door hinge pins and a small piece of mica in the door as shown. Most buyers will replace and restore this stove to it's original beauty! I did not see any cracks in the stove. This LARGE cast iron toy stove was manufactured by Kenton Hardware of Kenton. Ohio, c. 1900. The"Marvel Range" was one of their larger toy stove offerings. This stove measures 16" long, which includes the side hearth shelf. It measures 7 1/2" deep. The height is 15 1/2" to the top of the ornate back piece, 16 1/4" to the top of the stove pipe, and 9" to the cooktop. It is complete, other than the missing water reservoir cover. The overall condition is excellent and very clean.truly in collection-ready condition. It is NOT covered in rust or full of burnt wood chips, like so many of these stoves frequently are. The black finish is smooth and shiny, with no pitting. The stove is marked MARVEL on the oven door and MARVEL RANGE on the side hearth shelf. Thank you for viewing my auction. Please read before bidding. This is for a local pick up only. This auction is for an ornate GEM OAK Victorian Cast Iron Stove made by the Toledo Stove. Company. Number of the stove model is No 114. Stove was kept in a family room for many years and is in good working order. Item shows some signs of rust along the bottom. See pictures for more details. It is in beautiful condition and would clean up nice. It is very dusty in spots. It is very ornate and the finial and other iron work on the piece are really in great condition. I do not know how old the piece is. Some light research on the Toledo Stove Company would probably date this piece to the early 1900s. Owner has had the piece in the family for generations and it has been gently used. Kept mostly as a decorative piece in the family room. Very nice incredibly hard to fine Victorian Stove 1875-1899. As you can see in the pictures there are two chips in the enamel. I found one small chip with the porcelain tile. There has been a repair to the cook top. the picture of the rusty bolt is what holds the handle. the handle is loose and cannot be tightened with out restoration. where the right burner is there is a trash burner I do not know if the mortar work is original but it looks very very old.The rod that I think opens the flu slightly moves but is pretty stuck. This is a beautiful stove that needs a good home. Parlor Stove, 3 leg, Victorian artistry in Iron. 1864, Coal or Wood burning.
This 19th Century Victorian Art work was Manufactured in 1864 by the J.S. Lithgow Manufacturing Co. in Louisville. Kentucky. An inspection of the stove shows that it had very limited use. Note that the doors slide inside instead of swinging open. It appears to have been painted except for the two top pieces. This suggests to me that the chimney was attached at the top of the stove and the 2 piece top was not present and didn't get painted. I really don't know why they are not painted but they match perfectly and everything lines up. I don't think they were added later. A point of interest is that J.S. Lithgow was Mayor of Louisville from 1865 thru 1867. I have tried to show the art work and all the printing on the stove in the pictures. It is in perfect condition as far as I can tell. This exceedingly rare. 160 year old, Temple#6 Parlor Stove(manufactured by Vose& Co. in 1854) is BOTH extremely beautiful to behold and amazingly efficient at heating. Purchased from and expertly restored by Dave Erickson of Erickson’s Antique Stove in Ayer, MA in 1999 and has worked without flaw for the past 15 years. This model is VERY similar to the stove owned by Abraham Lincoln and used in the parlor of of The Lincoln House in Springfield, Illinois(that stove is a Vose& Co No. 5) Height: 44” | Width: 21” | Depth: 28” I would prefer local pickup but will arrange for the stove to be crated and shipped if necessary. All are different and I want your shipping to be correct. I will send an invoice with the exact cost. I use my fedex account and greyhound bus service for large items shipped west of the Mississippi. Offering this little Antique Johnson& company& Lesley& company 870 Broadway New York stove patented 1855. I stay away from stoves in general but this" RUBY" as in embossed just below the finial is one dandy. The stove is solid. Sturdy, uncracked, no holes or thin spots. No missing parts. Unheard of in a stove this ornate and old. The grate in the fire box appears to have been re enforced with a heavy steel plate in my opinion. I don't know if the piece is original ... morebut is proper. The Finial has 95% of the original white porcelain. The porcelain has been enhanced with appliance enamel which is rock hard. Some unsightly pitting is on the shoe in front of the fire box, seen like a clam shell. There is some at the base of the finial cup as well but goes mostly un noticed. The stove has been sand blasted and painted with Rustolium BBQ paint to withstand temperatures to 1200 degrees. I have burned wood all my life and the hottest Iv let mine go to burn out the creosote is 600 degrees. This stove will burn for many years trouble free. Both top doors and lower doors retract like a roll top desk smoothly and tightly. In addition to the stove is an adapter for the chimney. So you light the stove outside burn it to remove fumes just like a new one. If you stove black yours each spring the first fall burn stinks. After that they're fine. The stove without the parts weighs between 80 and 90 pounds. The parts weigh another 20. Iv totally dismantled the stove for shipping. After a full inspection the parts are all in very good strong solid condition. Iv had a number of folks wanting me to ship it in 2-3 boxes fedex. Iv replaced 4 threaded rods so it h

This is the Wisdom Oak No. 15. Model No. 159 by Wehrle. The stove is in good used condition; all doors are in working condition, no exterior/interior cracks, has only minor observable rust(underside of foot rails) and is all original. It has been refurbished following it's last use(twenty five years ago) and has been used as a room adornment only since. Stove is still fully functional for use as is if desired. Stove measures a total height of 48 inches to the top of the nickle finial, 13 inches wide at the base by 22 1/2 inches deep. The weight is estimated to be in the 90 to 100 pound range. Classic cylinder(pot belly) design.cast iron with nickle(chrome? top trim and three removable 15 inch long foot rails. 800x600 Neat old victorian stove used to heat a parlor or bathroom perhaps. The steel body has a cutout design. The base and top piece and lid are cast iron. It contains a burner mechanism and valve- untested for actual use. The door closes with a turn latch and contains what appears to be the original eisen glass. Two more pieces of eisen glass are in the interior chamber. Near the top is a screwed on plate that reads PATENTED JULY 3194(i.e. July 31, 1894) Over the door it says No. 2 CLEVELAND FDY CO and under the door it reads CLEVELAND O. and below that on the base it reads PURITAN Size: 18" tall to the top of the finial on the lid. Interior chamber is 5 1/2" diameter, about 10" across at the legs. This stove is in really good condition compared to others I have seen for sale. It's a nice size. Wehrle Cast Iron Antique Victorian Wood Burning Pot Belly Parlor Stove
This is a large. 58" tall, antique cast iron stove. Produced by Wehrle. This is their Model Number 18. It certainly must have been a top of the line model given all of the fancy Art Nouveau cast decoration. It disassembles into very manageable sections. So. Potentially, one person could move and install this. Although, I don't believe that I want to crate up that many pieces of cast iron and trust it to a shipping company, given how fragile cast iron can be. So, either you can come pick it up, make arrangements with an independent shipper, or perhaps, I may even be able to deliver it to you. I would say that the condition is pretty good. These are defects that I have noticed: The finial. The little adornment at the very top of the stove, is bent off center and it is missing one of it's flanking arms. The trim that goes around ... morethe belly is cracked in several places. All the pieces are there and they match up pretty tight when reassembled. They will even stay snug to the stove in the condition that they are in. But again, there are several fractures that segment that piece of trim all the way around the circumference of the stove. There is some corrosion at the pot belly. Where there is a seam between the upper and lower sections. I do not see any clearly evident holes. There are three pieces of trim that rest into the brackets that go around the stoves belly. But until those get repaired, I didn't want to attach them. I have a ton of more pictures available.
