Broiler, and Warming Cabinet- Covered range cooktop for extra counter space- Broiler drawer handle is broken but drawer still opens- On/Off knob for oven is missing decrotive cover piece behind knob- Overall in pretty good shape. This is the largest model of the base burner that the Favorite Stove Company made(the 16 inch"fire pot" It stands about 6 feet tall when setting on it's base. I have the cast iron 6 inch elbow that goes on the back of it also that goes with it and also a nice curved form nickel lid lifter for the hot plate on the back of this parlor stove. Due to it's weight. It is not very easy to move it around to get more pictures but I used to use this stove to burn wood although it was originally made to burn coal of course. All of the 48 mica windows are intact on both sides and the front. I bought this old parlor stove in 1969 and have owned it since then. Vintage PERFECTION STOVE COMPANY - Enamel Chimney No. 766 NOS Parlor Stove
This auction is for a vintage Enamel Chimney- Model#766 Made by Perfection Stove Company of Cleveland. Ohio. I am unsure of the age of the piece. But the postage on the outside reads Oct 1959 so it's got some age to it. Obtained at an estate sale. This chimney is approximately 9" tall. The bottom opening has a diameter of about 4.5" The top opening is close to4" As for condition- it is new old stock. But I listed it as New Other due to the condition of the box. There is also some rust starting on the bottom of the chimneyas pictured. I'm sure this can be buffed off. The box must have been sitting inside a damp building for some time. Detroit Jewel "They Bake Better" 1925 Michigan Stove Company
As the pictures show you are looking at a stove that as far as I can determine was made sometime in the 20's. There are no major rust problems. What you see is surface rust from sitting in a warehouse. I did not do any cleaning on the stove. This was one of the best stoves during the 20's. This stove DOES WORK. The man I obtained it from told me he have it converted to propane so he could place it outside and cook on it. Due to illness he never used the stove. This is a gas Magic Chef stove made by the American Stove Company. Model number 6401-14. The stove came from an estate in Ohio and was said to be working when removed from the home. I have never tested it so I cannot verify that all parts work properly but an appliance technician should be able to help you with this. This stove is missing one red knob and the pull rings for the top burner covers. It has some wear. But is in overall good vintage condition. This stove is called a yacht stove, it is tile and brass. The tile is a jade or emerald color and most of the tile are in very good condition. The brass has not been cleaned but in certain spots(see pics) The ash tray is rusted through and needs replacing. I am not sure what the strips on top are for other than for a type of security measure when placed on boat, to hold in place? This stove does need restoration and will a very nice piece to invest in. I assume the door would be on the front of the stove for putting things in and out of the belly. The door measures 6 inches in diameter. As seen in the photos, the door has some rust on it but is very solid and would probably clean up well. Great addition for any renovation piece or collection. I don't know the exact model or year of production but Estate Fresh Air Oven started around the late 1920's. If I had to guess this is a 1930-1940's model. This oven works and can be switched from natural gas to propane. This stove features 4 cook tops. A small oven with two slide out racks. One drawer is a warmer and another is a steamer. There are accessories to broil or bake with. The oven measures 42" in maximum height but 42" in maximum width by 25" max front to backside. The bottle measures ~ 10" x 7 1/2" in diameter and weighs 4lbs. The bottle is embossed and reads. TRADEMARK PAT. IN USA, NO 1299914, 1453716 IN ENGLAND 1919 PERFECTION STOVE COMPANY, CLEVELAND, OHIO, MADE IN USA. The bottle features its original filling neck and spring pump cap; the cap can be removed by a coupling rotation. The bottle has a securely attached metal swing handle connected to a metal band around the bottle(see images) The jug is unbroken, does not leak and has no foul smells. There are some light scratches in the glass otherwise the glass is clear and in good condition with original patina.
