This stove was purchased by a lady new on the outskirts of Shelbyville, Ky. and remained in her home until it was ... moresold in an Estate after she had passed away. The gentleman that I purchased this from is the one who had purchased it at the Estate auction around 1996. With the intent on installing it in his older Shelbyville home's kitchen which was undergoing a restoration. Anyway, he decided to go a different direction on the appliances, and that is when I came to own this remarkable stove. It was late 1996 when I purchased it. And the gentleman to me a story that I must pass on to you. The lady who originally bought this stove had used it daily since new, but being in her late 80's and a widow was pressured by her family to get a"new fangled" stove with autopilot features as they were concerned for her safety with a standing pilot light, and they were even going to pay for it. She refused over and over again until finally one day she said she would accept a"new" stove as long as they had"her" trusty companion"stove" installed down in the basement so that she could cook her Holiday dinner on her own stove. And so it would be! But when the kids were cleaning up the her old house for the estate sale. They noticed how clean the"new" stove was, and came to the conclusion that she had in fact not been using it at all, but going up and down the basement stairs everyday until her death. HMMMMMph? Anyway. When I purchased this in 1996, I took to the local appliance store for a"once over" cleaning, inspection, tune-up as well as having the oven controller removed and sent out to the Tulsa Stove Hospital to have it re-calibrated. I also had the top burners and grate re-porcelained by a company in Tennessee. I was having a"new" Victorian Country built, and this was installed upon moving in. My wife and I have enjoyed this stove up until May 2010, when we updated the kitchen with new SS appliances and a commerc

We are pleased to offer this antique 1894 cast iron CLARK SAWYER Co. kerosene parlor heater stove. The cast iron base is embossed"CLARK SAWYER CO. Worcester Mass. with a"P.B. Co. Pinder Bourne) trade mark and"BEAUTY" The base also has several patent dates that range from 1892-1894. The fuel tank or font is nickel plated and the adjustable wick knob is marked"Page Bros. Co. Boston. Mass. The chimney has three windows that are lined with mica. The stove stands 26' tall with a 14 3/4' diameter base. CONDITION: The stove will need a new wick. Antique Vintage Gas Cook Stove Made in Ohio A Real Beauty.
We have listed this stove for months and I know it will take the right situation for some to buy because it is a large stove. I have hundreds of lookers and usually at least 20 watchers but no sale as of yet. So just want to throw this out in the mix. If anyone has a nice antique they would consider trading for the stove let me know and send a picture. Here is an extremely clean antique Grand Stove by Cleveland Stove Works. I'm guessing from the 1920s or 30s. It is in complete working order. Has the original racks and burners! This stove has been lovingly maintained over the years. The Jadite colored knobs and handles set this stove apart from the others! Would look gorgeous in a vintage retro kitchen. The iron grates have been seasoned as one would do to a cast iron pan, which gives a nice color to the iron. We are selling this awesome stove as is- meaning buyer uses at own risk. This is an OUTSTANDING. Completely restored"17 Beauty Oak" parlor stove or base heater. Made by Auto Stove Works New Athens. Illinois, Circa 1890- 1910. Will burn wood or coal and will heat our entire house. Has been COMPLETELY restored- sand blasted. Repainted, resealed- just fantastically well done! Nickel plating has been completely redone& I bet looks like it did the day it was made! Brand new mica glass. Measures high 53 inches high and 24 inches wide. Fire box is 16 inches wide and 28 inches high. Flue is oval shaped and is 7& 1/4 inches by 4 inches. White areas on back of stove were my fingerprints from moving stove outside for pics and are NOT present on the stove- noticed AFTER it was moved back inside and wiped off with dry cloth.
