It measures 11-1/2” tall X 11-1/2” wide X 6-1/4” deep when put together, and is unbroken. The prior owner did paint it silver, and it will need a restoration of the finish. Included are the cast iron pots and pans as shown- they do not have any markings that would indicate a brand name. The only door that is hinged and opens is the door on the front. Favorite Salesman Sample or Toy Cast Iron Stove It is a wonderful little cast iron stove. This is a detailed COPY made a few years ago of an antique salesman sample or Toy. It is very decorative and has lots of detail. It has a lid lifter with it. The front of the stove has a large door that opens and has the word FAVORITE on it. There is a large oven rack inside this door. There are two small working doors on the front and there is a small grate that fits in the fire box. It could probably fired up. All six burners, and water reservoir has lid also. There is a decorative shelf above the stovetop. The measurements are as follows, 17 ½” across, 27 ½” high(including chimney) and 10 ½” deep. Please take the time to get a tape measure so you can get an idea of the actual size. Up for auction is a antique Sears Salesman sample cast iron pot belly wood cook stove toy. The front of the stove is marked Sears and the door opens up and inside is a metal mesh inside with showing pipe in middle. The door hooks closed but you have to lift it up to securely closed. The legs are all intact and two of them are loose and the other two are secure. There is no top lid that you would use to cook on top. So happy to be able to offer this Vintage. SPARK Salesman Sample cast iron potbelly stove. I have owned this stove for many years but never cleaned it up, displayed or used it. The man I bought it from had a Thrift/Swap Shop and the girl he bought it from had been using it to cook or warm food on. Actually, it had ashes in it when I bought it. There are still signs of ashes in it. Stamped Grey Iron Casting Co. Mt. Joy. Pa. on the underside of the burner lid. Had to clean the soot off to be able to make it out the mark. Size: Stove is 13½" tall to the flat part. 24" with the 12" chimney part. Chimney part is cut at the top for inserting into the next section of chimney. Chimney is tin. About 9¼" around the belly. Foot to foot across the front is 8¼" and front to back is 9" Weight: 14# Nice designs ... moreon the legs and flat parts. Condition: Original black paint in time-worn condition. The paint on the belly part evidently has burned off and there is minor rust on the metal in this area. Minor rust in other areas. Do not believe there is any damaging rust but the lid on the burner has rust that may have pitted the surface. The dampers work properly. But the small damper door on the belly part is a little hard to open, may just need some oil. I show a section on the back where there are small indention/ holes in the casting process, either air bubble or defect in the casting mold. Very sound condition. No breaks. I offer flat rate shipping which. I am sure is well under what it will cost to ship. If shipping figures $2.00 less than the flat rate, I will refund the difference to your Pay Pal account. Cast Iron Stove This is a small stove that was sold to me as a salesman's sample because of its small size. It measures approximately 16" without handle and 8" across. The top of the stove is marked with"NM&TCo" with"Buffalo.NY. underneath, see pictures. The stove is structurally solid. I see little to no rust on the outside but there is rust on the inside. Antique SPARK Cast Iron Salesman Sample Wood Burning Pot Belly Stove- This is a nice little stove that could almost be considered a toy. Except for the fact that it actually works. This particular stove has been used.the remnants of soot. Etc. still show in the photos. These little stoves were made by Grey Casting Company in Mount Joy. PA as replicas that salesmen would take to potential customers. They were produced with all working parts. The shaker grate empties into the cleanout. The drafts can be adjusted and all the doors open. The top plate can be taken off and you can actually connect it to a stove pipe. It stands 13 1/2" tall x 8" wide from foot to foot and 9" deep from foot to foot. CONDITION: This stove does show signs of being used and also has some surface rust. One of its legs has a broken piece up under the body ... moreat a point that would hold it in place by the nut. It still stands. But that point could be repaired. It stands fine as it is, though. It stands just 14 inches high and is all cast iron. It is in excellent condition. No cracks. It has a round air adjuster on top, a sliding one on the front door and a lever on the right side which rotates the grate on the inside, as shown both doors open and are useable. All work fine. This is certainly a fine cast iron and nickel plated toy salesman sample cook stove. One of the best I have ever sold. A Detroit Stove Works brand; this is the Jewel Range Jr. model. Several of Detroit stoves are pictured in Fords book. I found a receipt for the restoration of this stove from several years ago and it was over $1400. Understandable as it is perfect and very fine work. I can really find nothing to criticize on this piece. Very detailed working parts and incised decoration. A large piece 36 inches tall with the stove pipe(14 high without) Beautifully restored in appropriate paint and nickel plating. This is the Enterprise model No. 40 and measures approximately 13.7 x 16.0 inches. Appears had one additional extension on the back side but otherwise as perfect as we have seen. Far from a toy, pieces work just like the full size model of the time; even stove rack and muffin pan. Note the nickel plate even on the stove pipe. Up for auction is this lovely RARE Antique Uncle Sam Jr. Cast Iron Miniature Cook Stove by Abendroth Bros. This was found in an Estate Sale the elderly gentleman said that it belonged to his mother when she was a little girl and that she has used it to cook on before. Abendroth Brothers is a foundry of Port Chester. NY and made full size stoves as well as at least four different sizes of the Uncle Sam Jr. stoves. These toy or sample stoves were highly detailed and fully functional. This measures approximately 19 3/4" wide with the left side shelf included x 11" deep x 14" tall. This is extremely heavy weighing 53 lbs. The lower right front door is missing along with the right side shelf, a knob under the right side shelf and 2 stove covers on top. The coal drawer on the right bottom front is in rough shape. This stove is the ... morelargest and coolest looking stove I have ever come across and would look wonderful any where. It has all of its original doors and levers. All of the doors open and latch closed as they should. The top has two warming slots or storage compartments. The doors on them have the Majestic name in raised lettering. The oven door has a fantastic decorative front plate with an early ship and the name Majestic around it. The vents on the side are complete and in good shape. All four iron legs are complete. The stove is very solid and all components work. It has rust and old wear like antique cast iron tends to have. The nickel details like railings and end caps are complete but have rust. The stove displays beautifully as it is, but could be cleaned with a restored finish if preferred. The damper control on the center smoke pipe functions and has the name St. Louis in raised lettering. It has all six 4" removable heat plates. VERY RARE PATENT 1881 ABRAM COX STOVE COMPANY HEAVY CAST IRON SALESMAN SAMPLE NOVELTY FURNACE NO. 20 This is a very rare old salesman sample piece that dates to the late 1800's and advertises for the Abram Cox Stove Company. This is a small heavy cast iron and steel salesman sample of the Novelty Furnace No. 20 Model coal stove from Abram Cox Stove Co. The front of the stove has embossed writing on it and working opening doors. The front has patent dates of May 26. 1874 and June 5, 1881. The top opening door reads, Novelty No. 20 Furnace" on it. Below that is the"Abram Cox Stove Co. name and it shows that they were out of New York, Philadelphia, Boston and Chicago. The second opening door reads, Clinker Door" on it. The bottom door reads, To Increase Draft Open This Door 25000 Novelty Heaters in Use" on it. The sides ... morelook to have a cut-out design to show the inside detail of the stove. Copper tone Pot Belly Stove Salesman Sample. This very nice piece is missing the plate cover but except for a bit of aging patina it is in excellent condition. It measures approx. 6 3/4" to the top of the pipe and the base from leg to leg is approx. 2 3/4" It weighs 15 oz. There is no markings for manufacturer or date. My guess is it is mid century. Only markings are on the bottom and it is"Patent Pending" Great vintage item. Excellent for a large dollhouse, or a great paperweight.
