I acquired this Stove from an older gentleman who told me that his mother used to use this Stove all the time when she would do her canning with several neighbor ladies- out in the barn! He told me that as far as he knows. The Stove works just fine. It is in Excellent Vintage condition- Very Stout- has just light surface rust that will easily remove with a bit of sanding& quite a bit of the original Black paint still remains on the underside. An additional embellishment would be the three White Porcelain Knobs which move smoothly. This Stove also comes with it's original corrugated metal Hose Connector& can be used with gas or propane by changing out the Brass Orifice at the end of the Black Tube in front of the White Knobs. But haven't gone into excessive detailed cleaning as is obvious in some of the pictures. All of these knobs are originally from a Tappan gas stove. But should interchange with some other stoves. The oven dial is in very nice condition. But could use more detailed cleaning and possibly some lemon oil as shown in the images. The chrome ring is in very nice condition with no rust. what looks like rust in the photo was grime. Which has since been cleaned off!
