This is a Vintage Perfection model 1715A portable kerosene heater with original Pyrex glass. This is a great collectible! great for parts if you are restoring another similar one. There is some rust areas(see pictures) but the metal is still in good structural condition. This would be a great little restoration project. It has a great handle and the heater is approximately 25inches tall by approximately 17 inches wide at the base. VINTAGE 1913 PERFECTION SMOKELESS OIL # 140 C KEROSENE HEATER PARLOR STOVE 140-C
You are bidding on a vintage PERFECTION SMOKELESS OIL HEATER. It is model# 140-C(Which I believe to be from 1913) This is in working order and is really cool! This smokeless heater is in vintage condition. And there is some surface rust from over the years. I love the look as is. However, from my reasearch I have seen these beautifully redone, but I thought it was best to let the restoration up to the new owner. It measures 23.5 inches tall x 16.75 inches at the furthest distance between the legs. The vents all seem to work well. And the heater opens and closes nicely. The oil tank is really cool as well, being made out of either brass or copper! It may need a wick in the near future, but the heater lights up nicely(as can be seen in the pictures) And yes, I emptied out all the oil afterwards in order to avoid a huge mess in the mailing process. ... moreEnjoy. The chrome/stainless steel trim has surface corrosion and can be restored to its beauty when it was new 100 years ago. The patent date is May 23. 1913. The kerosene oil tank has the fuel gauge that shows how much fuel remains in the tank. I have not tested that to see if it is functioning. There is a wick although I don’t know if it is still usable. The metal holder is 3 ¾ inches tall. The box is 5 3/8 inches tall by 3 3/8 inches in diameter. The wick is in very good condition. And shows no evidence of rot. The holder is intact. With no dents. Up for sale is a Vintage Perfection Glass globe for a Perfection heater. Glass is nice with no chips or cracks. Says Perfection across the top of glass. On the back towards the bottom it says Pyrex Made in USA. Has some wear where the glass meets the heater just some minor rubbing also some rust along edges that had come off the heater it was on just needs a cleaning. This is a one gallon glass fuel supply jar for a Perfection stove. That would have been refilled at the local hardware store. It would fit above your stove upside down and gravity would feed the kerosene to your stove. Patented in the USA, as stated on the jug, by the Perfection Stove Company in Cleveland, Ohio. It has a great patina with no chips or cracks. The metal band and handle are solid and sturdy. The cap spring and diaphram are intact and functional. Farm fresh. I only dusted it off. Condition is as follows/ shown: Heater is completely original and without restoration minus the 2 top screws were replaced due to being locker down. The paint is fantastic with only a few small rubs to mention. The glass shade is void of damage, the nickel plat is shiney/ bright. There are no dents, heavy scratches, holes, corrosion, heavy rust to mention. The piece still has a wick as shown. I don't believe this was used very much nor has it been exposed to moisture. Antique (1902 -1912) Perfection #130C Smokeless Oil or Kerosene Heater
Antique Perfection Smokeless Oil- Kerosene Heater Antique Perfection Smokeless Oil Heater. I rubbed off enough of the"patina" to determine this heater has 1900 and 1902 patent dates. There is also a"7 12" stamped in the top of the wick cap(see 2nd to last photo) That may indicate a production date. I think the later models came out in 1913. It still has a good Perfection wick. This kerosene heater measures approximately 24 1/2" tall, 12 1/2" side to side, and 12 1/2" front to back. This old heater appears complete except for the sight glass and would make a great restoration project if you want it to look like new. Or you could leave it as is, as shown in photos, for a rustic addition to your decor.

And uses the same wick font. The heater has a Perfection kerosene tank that as you can see burns fine. But needs to be adjust somehow, because it is very hard to turn the wick up and down. There is a piece on top of the canister that twist off. Once that is off the wick goes up and down freely, so it is something with that piece that is making it hard to turn the wick up and down. The bottom of the heater has the no. A-602 near the bottom. This is in good condtion with the typical color loss. And just needs the tank that holds the kerosene and wick.

It is patd june 17. 191 2. It is no. 510. It has been repainted at some point but I think it make s it look more like the originals.the bottom looks to have been resealed so must have been used at some point.check out the pic. It measures 2 2" tall and 25"D at the top and 29 to 30" at the base.could use a good cleaning but will leave to its new owner.
