Glenwood Parlor Stove No. 123 This auction is for an original beautiful looking. Chrome accented Glenwood Parlor stove. The back of the stove reads Glenwood No. 123 Weir Stove Co. Tauton, MA. This stove has a side loader, two hidden cook tops, chrome foot rest, cherub front door design and challis. Challis is complete and undamaged other than being a little aged like the rest of the stove. All of the moving parts work as they should. When the front door is open there is a great, ornate front gate. There are no known broken parts. It was viewed recently by a professional stove installer and he found the stove to be sturdy, solid, not warped and undamaged. It is in great shape for its age. It measures 42" to the top of the challis. 27" wide at the widest part at the base and 24" deep from the front to the back. The stove can ... morebe disassembled easily and the main piece is very heavy. We have not used the stove during our two years of ownership. Stored in dry basement. Dry garage and living room. Have used this stove as decor only but I'm sure it could be functional if that is the need. All hinges and door fits are tight. Vents operable and interior parts are in place. Seems to be missing the decorative top and some decorative skirting around the belly that I have seen in other pictures. Other that that it is rock solid with no rust.

An antique parlor heat stove by PENINSULAR STOVE CO of Detroit. Chicago and Buffalo, model 211. This stove is in need of restoration or for parts. This is a pretty stove with both Victorian and Art Nouveau design elements. As it stands it is 40" tall to the top of the brass finial and measures 16 1/2" across and 14" 1/4 deep at the bottom. Across the front of the bottom it is cast WORLD'S LEADER, and a large initial"K" is cast underneath the opening for the flue. The stove is missing the base. It would have been 14 1/4 X 16 1/2. The mica or isinglass panes in the door and on both sides of the stove show some damage and loss. There is a little loss to the iron at the top of the left and right sides where the cap sits on it. The domed cap is cracked, the round plate on top is cracked in two. we have one of the foot ... morewarmer rest, missing the other. There are 2 pieces of a teracotta type material in the bottom and another is like stovepipe the bottom has some breaking through places.The brass finial sits a little cocked.and most likely is missing its scroles. Really a neat looking item in very good condition(there is a crack in the round plate on the top-but secure) A flat upper and a flat lower surface with a drawer on one side. Up for sale is a great fresh find from an old Estate. This is a" COX WHITEMAN CO. Philadelphia. PA. Circa 1866. Antique cast iron parlor wood stove. The fire box measures 21 inches L x 16 inches H. x 9 inches W, this is just the inside of the fire box, the chimney exchaust is 5 inches in Dia. Everything is in working condition ready to go. The legs are missing but I still might find them in the building. It could be set on four bricks until something is found or made. The orginal legs slide on just like the old claw foot bathtubs are made. Like a wedge. Even a piece of hard wood would work. These bring good money as collectible stoves even without the feet. VINTAGE 1913 PERFECTION SMOKELESS OIL # 140 C KEROSENE HEATER PARLOR STOVE 140-C
You are bidding on a vintage PERFECTION SMOKELESS OIL HEATER. It is model# 140-C(Which I believe to be from 1913) This is in working order and is really cool! This smokeless heater is in vintage condition. And there is some surface rust from over the years. I love the look as is. However, from my reasearch I have seen these beautifully redone, but I thought it was best to let the restoration up to the new owner. It measures 23.5 inches tall x 16.75 inches at the furthest distance between the legs. The vents all seem to work well. And the heater opens and closes nicely. The oil tank is really cool as well, being made out of either brass or copper! It may need a wick in the near future, but the heater lights up nicely(as can be seen in the pictures) And yes, I emptied out all the oil afterwards in order to avoid a huge mess in the mailing process. ... moreEnjoy. This dome stove top is a'swing away' type which swings away on its nib which had fit into a notch on top of stove to reveal the stove's cook top(please see the nib on one side of the edge of top-it is undamaged. The underside is signed by the Portland Stove manufacturing company in raised embossed letters and reads the brand of the stove: HOME ATL(see pic of underside and company signature in pic provided-there are also a few other letters/number) Although the lettering/signature does not read the Portland Stove Co. name-this brand and name of stove is the signature stove made by this company in the first years of 1900 and is listed in thier antique catalogue with this brand name and picture. I have nickle plated several of the front pieces and legs. Marked on the front EVENING STAR 1888. This is a 3 legged stove. Seems to be complete. There are 2 faces, one on each side not sure what they would be, but remind me a lot of my mother-in-law. Antique Parlor Stove Gas Wood Coal Nickel Trim
Antique cast iron parlor stove that apparently burned coal. Wood or ran on gas. The gas burner is gone from the inside, leaving the vent and gas pipe bracket on the right side. The interior is all there including the coal grate and ash tray. They must have used it for burning coal at one time. No rust through on outside sheet metal. The nickel plated trim is still very nice but there is a weld repair on the front foot rest rail. You can see this in one of the photos. It is a nice smooth repair but it did take the nickel off at that spot. Have never used one of these and don't know much about them. The dimensions are approx: 37" tall by 20" wide by 18" deep. The name on the front is COLGAS UNIVERSAL No. 316. The ornamental top swings away to reveal a small lift off lid to put a pot on. Probably made a bout 1900- 1920.
