This clock/cooking timer sits built-in the center of your stove backsplash. The exterior finishes are bright and shiny. The glass crown has no cracks. Chips or scratches. The clock/timer faceplate is bright with no scratches in the red ink, the white background has yellowed slightly over the decades. The 2 white knobs are in excellent condition and turn the clock/timer hands smoothly as intended. We h ave thoroughly cleaned this clock. It i s spotless. It is rare we find these in such wonderful cosmetic condition. This is a gorgeous piece of vintage Americana and truly a rare find. Please note. This means we at GrapeVineSally have had the part/s rechromed by local professionals with decades of experience. We DO NOT USE"turn and burn" chrome shops. Our chrome shop is among the best in Los Angeles. When one thinks SoCal vintage hot rods& classic cars- think our chrome shop. It costs a little more, but we prefer to only work with the best. It also means the chrome is new and has never been used. If a part is used in any way we will not categorize it as NEWLY CHROMED. All New Chromed parts are original vintage parts. This is the base trim that sits at the top of the white porcelaim enamel back splash panel on the 39" vintage O'Keefe& Merritt gas stove. It extends the entire width of the stove. The clock/timer sits in the center. The chrome vents sit on the L&R sides. The chrome on all of the exposed areas is show quality. The few"freckles" you see where the clock sits are limited to the area that the clock/timer sits and are not seen when the clock and this trim is installed. There are no bends, dents, scratches- the metal integrity is excellent. The center 5.0"x1/2" piece of glass is not included, nor is any mounting hardware. Vintage 1940's O'Keefe & Merritt Classic Gas Stove Model 420-4 G GLASS Oven Door
Antique Gas O'Keefe& Merritt Stove Range. Has the top cover that doubles as a shelf for keeping things close by and off the heat. The salt and pepper shakers are bakelite and located in the top section. Has a timer but does not work. The wiring will need to be replaced but only the light and external plug are electric. This has all the bells and whistles. Model No.420-4 G. Serial number 605134, the griddle and Giant burner are both 12000 BTU, the Oven is 20000 BTU. Has all the oil drip pans and handles. Very nice piece of history for any kitchen remodel or dress up. Measurements are 35 inches width, 29 inches out from wall, 55 inches tall. It has some issues but all there.
