This is a very hard to find lantern with the original Emeralite shade. The shade is signed as you can see. It is also free from any damage. Chips, or cracks. The lamp has some tarnish on the nickle plated base as you can see however this could be polished to a shine. This lamp is 100% complete and all original. The patent dates on the lamp are 1920 and 1922 but this model was originally made in 1919. The model is the Coleman Quicklite. The diameter of the shade is 10" and it is 6" tall. The car is numbered 99932 with 8-44 built date. The car comes with KD5 cou plers and Athearn rigid frame Dalman type trucks. The wheels are plastic and the a xles are steel with little surface rust. There is no weathering on the car body. The Mantua underframe weight is painted flat black. The car is weighted 2.2 oz. The car is for late steam or early diesel era and is a very nice example of the Mantua hopper.

Sugar cube tray holder German 1940's nickle plate
A very vintage sugar cube tray from Germany. This was my Grandmothers and she came from Dusseldorf in the 1940's. The tray is in perfect condition and ready to use. Measures 6" by 1.5" to the top of the handles and weighs 2.5 ounces. Constructed from solid brass and plated with the artificial silver known as- Nickel silver. Also as German silver, Argentan, new silver, nickel brass, albata, alpacca, or electrum, is a copper alloy with nickel and often zinc. The usual formulation is 60% copper, 20% nickel and 20% zinc. Nickel silver is named for its silvery appearance, but it contains no elemental silver unless plated. The name"German silver" refers to its development by 19th-century German metalworkers. Rene Dumont Piccolo. With case, nickle plate Made in Italy probably late 1960's early 70's IMPORTANT The crown cap is missing. That doesn't mean it won't play. But will affect the balance just a little bit. Any brand crown cap that fits will do fine. It's nickle plated which is more durable than silver plate, but does not look as cool. It has good pads, plays well, the case is worn but adequate. Among things it would be an excellent knock around instrument for marching band.
