Kalamazoo, Michigan and the door says Bakeasy This stove has a great mint green and white color combination- super retro and cool. I don't really know when it was made. But other stoves of this type found online referenced 1925. The top comes off the base. You can also open up the stove on top and in front to access everything(this is a normal and very good thing) It is clear that solid fuel was burned in this stove last time based on the ash in the bottom part. I don't know if it was wood or coal. The firebox is fairly small. So I would think coal would be more practical, but then again, where there's a will, there's a way. The crank that would turn the parts under the firebox is missing. I would think you could find one

Detroit Jewel "They Bake Better" 1925 Michigan Stove Company
As the pictures show you are looking at a stove that as far as I can determine was made sometime in the 20's. There are no major rust problems. What you see is surface rust from sitting in a warehouse. I did not do any cleaning on the stove. This was one of the best stoves during the 20's. This stove DOES WORK. The man I obtained it from told me he have it converted to propane so he could place it outside and cook on it. Due to illness he never used the stove. If you want any more information about the stove do contact me and I will help you anyway that I can. I can also locate you a shipper if you need this help. Will place it on a pallet and insure that it is strapped down properly.

This Stove has a black& gold painted finish color. And this piece has an interesting and stylish Victorian design. This Stove has a vented door on the front. See pictures, and the vents are manually-adjustable. The vented top of the Stove slides to the side to reveal two removable heating plates, see pictures, and the Stove/Oven appears to have been re-painted over the years. The side of the Stove contains a door for access to the combustion compartment. See pictures. This gorgeous Stove/Oven was produced by the Michigan Stove Company. And it is the"Ivy" model. This wonderful Stove has a vent on the back for a chimney. See pictures, and the front ... moregold-painted shelf is removable for shipping. I do know that the glass in the doors is correct for a wood or coal burning stove. Although this stove has many removable parts. It is still a very heavy piece. Michigan Stove Co dated 1892 Garland Jr Cast Iron stove salesmans sample / toy
Offered here without reserve is this dated 1892 cast iron Garland Range Jr made by the Michigan Stove Co. This is a sizable piece: Assembled she measures 20" wide. 11" deep and 15" high. And she comes with three cooking pans and a pot. The main body of the stove sets on the cast iron frame as my 2nd picture shows. The oven has its original grill pieces(see my 7th picture) and all doors are in perfect working order. There are however tree basic apologies- two minor and one more important. First, as pictures 6 and 9 show, there's a small chip out of the base at one corner and, second, as picture 10 shows there's a small chip out of one corner of the removable cooking plate to the right side of the stove. Picture 11 shows the more serious apology- the back edge of the left-hand side shelf has broken off- not obtrusive ... moresince it is the backside, but the damage is there. Beyond all of this(with the possible exception of one missing circular removable cooking plate(see my 8th picture) she's in excellent condition. Keep in mind that this is a large"miniature" stove, and when shipped I will disassemble as much as possible- removing if I can the chimney section. So some reassembly will be required. I have estimated shipping at $60 since I will want to ship in two separate boxes with the main body of the stove double boxed and shipped separately. However, if this is an over-estimate, I will refund the difference.

Up for auction is a very rare E. Bements& Son’s Lansing Michigan“PALACE OAK” 163. Parlor Stove. This E. Bements& Son’s parlor stove is rare and you don’t see many of these anymore. Dates back to between 1880 to 1892 and were considered to be one of the premier quality stoves at that time, it also heated evenly and conserved fuel. This stove has been disassembled, cleaned down to bare metal, repainted on the outside with a high gloss high quality heat paint(black& silver) on the inside high quality heat paint in flat black and has a minimum of 6 coats of paint on each piece of metal and meticulously reassembled(this stove is solid) All cast iron metal and fire box is in great condition. Super clean. I don’t know much about these types of stoves but I do know it looked great in my house and always a conversation piece. I have owned ... morethis stove for many years. Never lit a fire in it just kept it as a decorative display piece in my living room and just now this winter had it refinished. The stove body and the leg section are two separate pieces; the body sits on top of the leg section just the way it was when manufactured. This parlor stove is extremely ornate and has a very unique design from top to bottom also has some really nice features they are as follows: 3 large removable working doors with new mica glass. Stove lid plate, 18“ fire box, 16” fire pot, fire chamber inside of stove is 16“ wide x 32“ tall, 4 shaker grates, removable top that exposes the stove lid plate covering the fire chamber, 26” x 26” foot print and 60” tall with a weight of 230 lbs. just an awesome stove.
