But we changed our mind and have never used it, so we're selling it as is. The man who sold it to us had bought it at an auction in the 1970s and used it in his den as a TV stand. Never hooking it up to a chimney. It appears that the owner before him had burned coal in the stove, as the grates are pretty rough. Classic Vintage 1960's Working Caloric Heritage Kitchen Oven Stove Range Broiler
Thank you for looking at this auction for this classic 1960's kitchen stove/oven/broiler made by Caloric. This is Caloric's vintage'Heritage' model gas range. It has a four gas burners on the stovetop. An oven and an individual broiler drawer. It measures 30" wide, 25" deep(front to back) 36" tall to the stovetop and 45-1/2 inches tall to the top of the backlight/clock console. I have tested it and the broiler. Oven and stovetop burners all work. The top panel with the clock has a crack in the glass and there are a few areas along the top edge where the porcelain enamel finish needs some spot refinishing. Description: This is one of many items acquired from the estate of the Mackey family of Everett. Washington; the founding family of Washington Stove Works. The company was founded in 1875 in Michigan, moved to Everett in 1903, and continued business through four family generations until they sold in 1981. These items are mainly trade publications and jobbers catalogs. They are all original catalogs, not reprints or reproductions. All in spanish and it’s all about stoves and ranges. Along with all manner of fancy industrial kitchen equipment; the catalog itself is in decent condition, the covers are worn and have some stains, creases, tears, and general distressing; the binding consists of one big metal clip and is holding together okay; the 106 color pages show some yellowing and foxing along with a few oily fingerprints; there are also edge ... morecreases and small tears; all the loose advertising is in good condition with some minor edge dinging and yellowing. Not smokey or musty in any way, but smells a little like it was around fuels and oils and stoves and things. Please ask questions if you got‘em.
