1893 Original Georg Haller Kerosene Ottensen Hamburg THREE Wick Stove WOW! What a fantastic find. After research and figuring was this was it has quite some history. Many people in europe had to travel to find work during the turn of the century. They needed a cook stove that was made very well and portable. This is cast iron and enamel. Some had one two. Three and a few four burners. They ran on kerosene. They all mainly used the same size wick. This has the remains of a old wick. The bottom pan for the kerosene is in fantastic shape. It has rust drippings from the iron parts that will really clean up. The upper enamel cook pan has one small round scrape on the side as shown, rest in fantaastic shape. The cast iron has rust and after cleaning up it would be a super terrific show-piece. On the bottom grate it is broken through about 1/4 of ... morea inch. It also has a extra ring on the inside that I read was used for smaller pots. Only 118 years old! The research states the early 1900's, but this is earlier than that. It is quite ornate also, not like some of the others I saw. I also thought the hole on the side needed another part to be attached. It probably had a plug, but is suppose to be there as a venting hole. It is a real history treasure. A real heavy piece, will take ectra packaging to avoid anything getiing bent and will be insured. Appears to be in very good condition with no dents or damage that I can see; however. It is missing the inner and outer burner rings. The stove includes a wrench and 2 little wire type cleaning tools- I think for cleaning the jets on the burner? There is an original paper instruction sheet in 4 different languages- I notice that someone on eBay has been selling these instruction- just copies of an original set- for $12.95 ea. this original set will be included with this stove- please note: the paper is stained and brittle. There is some writing impressed into the base of the unit which reads"Made in Czechoslovakia" and above that some writing which looks ... moreto be in a language like Turkish but it maybe Czechoslovakian. I don't know? I have pumped up the fuel chamber and it appears to hold pressure. You are bidding on a vintage PERFECTION SMOKELESS OIL HEATER. It is model# 140-C(Which I believe to be from 1913) This is in working order and is really cool! This smokeless heater is in vintage condition. And there is some surface rust from over the years. I love the look as is. However, from my reasearch I have seen these beautifully redone, but I thought it was best to let the restoration up to the new owner. It measures 23.5 inches tall x 16.75 inches at the furthest distance between the legs. The vents all seem to work well. And the heater opens and closes nicely. The oil tank is really cool as well, being made out of either brass or copper! This old. Glass, fuel jar was probably used as a reservoir to supply kerosene to a cook stove. Or maybe an antique heat stove. It has a spring loaded valve that still works perfectly- and features a metal band around the middle of the jar that held the iron bail. Or handle. CONDITION is VERY GOOD- no cracks or damage to the glass- just wear from use( circa early 1900s) The bottom exhibits some stretched glass residue. A pontil mark, from when it was originally blown. These are NOT cracks, clearly they stand out in relief, little ridges that can be seen and detected with the fingernail. The concentric rings on the bottom provides an interesting manufacturing design. All original. Payment must be received within FIVE DAYS of the end of the auction. im selling my antique kerosene oil stove fuel bottle. jug.Jar w/cage&push stem.the glass is great and so is the cage. not sure how old it is but in really great shape.im not sure but I think there is a spring missing on the stem, but stem lid still works,and stills screws easly on and off.the jug It holds a liitle over a gallon,bottom of glass jug is marked"933" its this is a very nice peace and very old,and not seen very often.
