This is a Vintage Perfection model 1715A portable kerosene heater with original Pyrex glass. This is a great collectible! great for parts if you are restoring another similar one. There is some rust areas(see pictures) but the metal is still in good structural condition. This would be a great little restoration project. It has a great handle and the heater is approximately 25inches tall by approximately 17 inches wide at the base. Condition is as follows/ shown: Heater is completely original and without restoration minus the 2 top screws were replaced due to being locker down. The paint is fantastic with only a few small rubs to mention. The glass shade is void of damage, the nickel plat is shiney/ bright. There are no dents, heavy scratches, holes, corrosion, heavy rust to mention. The piece still has a wick as shown. I don't believe this was used very much nor has it been exposed to moisture. For your consideration is this Perfection Model 750 kerosene heater with the flame glass globe. It has a brown and white porcelain finish with a nickel plated fender. It measures 24" tall and about 13" in diameter at the bottom. This one is barn found with a layer of dirt from normal use. The porcelain finish is nice but does show a few random small chips. Otherwise very nice and appears to be complete. I could be doing something wrong but I can't get the wick adjuster to turn. Everything else appears OK. Sometimes called a“straw mark” When the hot glass is held over the mold and just enough is put into the mold. If this is done just right, so it's thrown to the side of the piece, it blends in with the rest of the glass and doesn't show. Very nice glass globe from a Perfection No 735 kerosene heater. I'm sure it fits other models. This style has PERFECTION embossed across the top, with a triangle below it and a rectangle in the back that has PYREX, patent numbers, etc. Measures 8 1/2" tall, 8 3/8" diameter at the outside of the mounting lip. No chips, cracks, or rough spots. Of course the lips are rough where they were ground by the factory, but this is hidden when installed and they are all like this. Glass is clean without even a tiny chip or rub. I will be listing more parts from this heater, glad to combine shipping. This will be double-boxed and well padded. This is a vintage used Perfection brand#735 kerosene or oil parlor stove-coiled bail handle-baby blue paint-glass sides are imprinted with flames-it has paint chips and rust-the rust is mostly surface rust but a little heavier on part of the base-I bought it from an estate sale and have never used it but it looks like all parts are present. The tank looks good and I think with a new wick it would probably be usable-12" wide at base and 25" tall-no cracks in glass-it will be an oversize box so shipping is kinda high

It looks like someone converted this stove from gas to electric and put light bulbs on the inside so it would shine with foil surrounding. The electrical cord plug is chewed off so that will either need to be replaced or you can convert it into something else as you wish. The front says No. 40 and I believe inside the front little door it says no 40 but its hard to see. Antique Portable Heater Classic Kerosene Stove With Opaque Glass Center 25"X 9"
You are bidding on a very old kerosene heater. It measures approximately 25 inches tall. 9 inches wide and 13 inches on the bottom. The glass center takes up about 8 inches in the middle of the heater. It had been painted a white enamel and they did such a good job I have no idea what the original color might have been. I do not know if it's in working order as it was used solely for decoration and was not needed as a heater. However the inside"pot" is still there. There is no kerosene or oil in it at all nor has there been for as long as it's been here in this house.since the 1970's.It is a very study little heater, very pretty with the glass center. Although I never actually did it, I always thought I would find a way to place a flameless candle inside the glass which could make it a very appealing little"lantern" ... morewithout the danger of fire. When you look at the tank, you just know it's old glass! No identifying mark's.Still has cellulose window halve stuck on. It does have some rust coloring around the neck of the bottle and on the metal band& bail, but the band and bail are in good condition.
