Oil companies used horse drawn carts with large tanks of kerosene that would go through the larger cities of America. Fastened to the sides of these tankers were Perfection stoves and heaters that the deliverymen would sell off the cart. Following Standard Oil's breakup in 1916, the oil companies decided to concentrate on the gasoline business and gave up marketing stoves. This vintage Perfection Oil Heater No 660( Made in the USA) was advertised to" give glowing warmth at the touch of a match" and" heats up the coldest room in a few minutes" and" burns 10 hours on a gallon of oil" These stoves were light. Strong, and handsome and easily carried about and would really hit the spot on a cold morning. This ... morePerfection Oil Heater shows the patent date(June 17, 1919) is affixed to a silver plate on the front of this heater which is 24 Inches in Height. The base considering the four legs is 16 Inches in diameter and the top which doubles as a stove top is 10 Inches in diameter. This Perfection Oil Heater comes with an attached carrying handle. To light the heating element/wick, just snap the front latch so that the chimney can be opened to expose the wick/heating element which is at the base of the classic blue chimney. Vitage 1920 Antique Barler Ideal Kerosene Heater (Blue enamel color) VERY RARE!!
You are bidding on a True Vintage Antique. This item up for bid is a 1920 Kerosene Ideal Heater made by The"Barler Manufacturing Company" out of Chicago Illinois U.S. of A. The color of this model is a very rare find as I've only seen this exact color once and I've seen a WHOLE lot of them. This particular one was bought from an Amish family in Pennsylvania Amish country. The actual size is about 25" tall and 13" wide and it is absolutely beautiful. This Barler heater is in a great condition for being 93 years old and coming up on it's 100th birtday(a bit of rust but not full on rust color at all) It is fully operational(still please have inspected if going to use Ideal heater for every day use) and fully unrestored(being original state and looking great is rare) The nickel plating chrome still shines nicely(see ... morereflections in pictures) as does the powder baby blue(or North Carolina blue) enamelware paint. If you look at the provided pictures you will also see the gold of the kerosene tank looks awesome condition with hardley any rust and the craftmanship in the design of the tank knobs and features are timeless early 1900's style. The cast iron top grill design is beautiful and has kept it's color(not rust in picture it is really a black goldish tone) and also has a beautiful 1900's style. The unbelievably best thing about the condition is. the glass of the mica window.is UNBROKEN. Is in ONE PIECE, IN TACT and has NO CRACKS! The only flaws of condition is a 2 1/2" wide 1/4" deep slight dent in the front of heater just between the mica window and cast iron top(this is easily pulled out and fixable as it is really not deep at all) The other condition flaws are the 3 spots of missing paint(2 spots are 1" and 1 is 1/2" but really takes nothing away from the vintage look(I've clearly shown in pictures) Other than that see pictures for any light rust and judge yourself. And uses the same wick font. The heater has a Perfection kerosene tank that as you can see burns fine. But needs to be adjust somehow, because it is very hard to turn the wick up and down. There is a piece on top of the canister that twist off. Once that is off the wick goes up and down freely, so it is something with that piece that is making it hard to turn the wick up and down. The bottom of the heater has the no. A-602 near the bottom. This is in good condtion with the typical color loss. And just needs the tank that holds the kerosene and wick.

Tilley Radiator Model RH57 Baby Blue Heater + Swivel Base 1580A Jan 1958 England You are bidding on a Tilley Lamp Co. RH57 Radiator. Radiator/Heater, complete with a detachable swivel base. Marked on the front of the font is: TILLEY-ENGLAND. Marked on the underside of the font: Made in England and the date stamp: 1580A, which I understand dates manufacture to January, 1958. Marked on the filler spout: TILLEY LAMP CO. LTD, HENDON. This was purchased at a local Estate sale recently, so I know little about its history. The front screen swivels down for access. Overall condition of this item is very, very good. This radiator is used and it will show evidence of such use including small scatches. The font is baby blue and still quite shiny. There are some small scratches on the font surfaces. The large reflector retains most of the original shiny ... morefront surface but there are small rust spots showing in some places. The back of the reflector has some heat bubbles in the finish. There are no decals remaining except the one from the hardware store that sold it. Due to the problems of shipping items through the USPS that contain or require fuel I did test fire this radiator. I did pump up the tank and released the control valve and the nozzle hisses, and smells of fuel, indicating to me that the system should work. I then opened the fuel tank cap allowing the remaining compressed air to escape, which it did with a great deal of hissing. Due to shipping costs, I will partially disassemble this radiator to more easily fit into a less costly shipping box. It stands 24 inches in height not including the handle and the legs sit 17 inches apart at the base. The stove was PAT June 17 1913. The condition of the stove is very nice. Some light surface rust and scratches, nothing major. The enamel does show some wear at a couple places. The brass burner insert is in great condition, no holes complete with wick although you may want to change it out before firing it up. This unit has not been tested but I feel pretty confident that it will work fine. I believe it could be polished up to look even nicer. A nice display piece as well as functional. Antique Perfection Fancy Ornate Blue Enamel# 660 Kerosene Heater with Brass Font. Without the handle up it measures 24" high and has a base diameter(across the feet) of 16 1/4" The metal has been repainted with rest-oleum protective flat black paint for high heat surfaces. The blue enamel has 3 spots of wear all on the same side(left side) shown in the 5th photo. The fancy brass font has been professionally repaired because the wick raiser was slipping and now it works properly. We've shown two areas of stress lines but have tested it for leakage and it does not leak. Wick will soon need replaced but does have some use left in it.

Antique Perfection Smokeless Oil/Kerosene Heater No. 630 in blue enamel is complete with burner/tank. Heater measures 24" t x 17" w(at widest point between feet) and about 10" w at top. Does have rust to metal trim and some chips in the enamel. Flame/wick adjustment knob is stuck. I believe due to old gummy wick still in the burner. I do not know if it works but am selling it as home décor. The tank had a small amount of kerosene in it, which I drained, but there will be a bit of a kerosene odor.

This TANK is used and has patina- the finish is intact but there are some chips in the finish and finish missing on the bottom as well as dents. The fill cap is is intact and works. The oil gauge window should be replaced as it is not clear. The wick winder assembly is intact and works. It is a perfect base product for refurbishing purposes. This is a Perfection Smokeless Oil Heater. Made in USA, with Trademark and Patent No. 630 marked on the front. This Item is dated to approximately 1913. It is two-toned Country Blue and Chrome. It is rusted, but as you can see by the pictures, it is not that bad. I have not seen any pictures of the bottom of this item, so I do not know if the bottom is suppose to look like that. It does seem like the substance is a form of plaster. Item stands About 32" high with handle extended. About 10" diameter and weighs about 5lbs Historical details: Before WW I. Oil companies had horse drawn carts with large tanks of kerosene that would go through the larger cities of America. Fasten to the sides of these tankers were Perfection stoves and heaters that the deliverymen would sell off the cart.
