It also means the chrome is new and has never been used. If a part is used in any way we will not categorize it as NEWLY CHROMED. All New Chromed parts are original vintage parts. This is the base trim that sits at the top of the white porcelaim enamel back splash panel on the 39" vintage O'Keefe& Merritt gas stove. It extends the entire width of the stove. The clock/timer sits in the center. The chrome vents sit on the L&R sides. The chrome on all of the exposed areas is show quality. The few"freckles" you see where the clock sits are limited to the area that the clock/timer sits and are not seen when the clock and this trim is installed. There are no bends, dents, scratches- the metal integrity is excellent. The center 5.0"x1/2" piece of glass is not included, nor is any mounting hardware. VINTAGE PAT1922 Roper Enamel gas stove oven P9736- oven, 4 burner top,warmer+!
This item was purchased at an Estate auction.This is a VERY nice Roper gas stove and oven. It has the number P9736 on the dial. And was patented in Canada in 1922, refrigerator patents earlier than that. Item is large, but still small enough to have in the everyday kitchen. Item is 42 1/2" by 24" and is 54" tall(including the 19" footed legs) Breaking down the dimensions, the top stove is 16"X"20 and 14" tall(top left oven unit) the bottom broiler unit is 16"X20" and about 10 1/2" tall(bottom left opening) Burner top is 15"X20" rectangular(section where burner flame meets cooking surface) and the warmer unit under burners is about 21"X21" and about 9" to 10" depending on how close you want to put to the burners(this is where you would let the bread rise in earlier ... moredays) The four burner units where the flame comes out, three are 4" wide, and one is 5 1/2" wide. There is a small shelf on the right side of the stove, that is included and is about 3 1/4" wide by 1 1/4" and is 21 1/2' deep.To my knowledge all the parts are included, but if you do not see in the photos, please let me know and I will get back with the answer as soon as possible. The item has a black colored edging artistic design on most pieces, can see in photos. This item does have rust, and do not know if the gaskets are in working condition. Since the is a gas item, please make sure to have checked out by an expert before using in case of unknown valve leaks. The would be an excellent restoration item! This item is being sold AS IS. This was removed from a stove that we purchased at an area auction. The seller had begun the restoration process. They had this and several other parts newly chromed. The 2 mounting hinges, screws and the underside stainless"horseshoe trim" is not inclused. We have reducd the price because there are a couple slight"pits" in the piece that were not(in our opinion) buffed/polished as nicely as they could have been. Please see these imperfections at the far rear right side of the top surface. They are barely noticeable from a couple of feet back, but never the less they are there- please see the last few close up photos to be certain you are OK with these details before making your purchase. We realize this may not work for everyone. However we believe there are others that would prefer a more affordable, perhaps slighty less"pristine" top for their cooking needs.
