Lawson gas room heater number"0" Its approx. 10 1/2"x(counting the valve the heater is 7" 13 1/2"x 5" To me it looks to be in very good used condition and the valve turns freely. Everything is original including the wood handle on the valve. It has been painted off white. I'm not that old(but close) but as a kid I remember seeing white and black heaters. On the side has 4 pat. no. starting in 1910 to May 28th 1918. I don't have any gas connections to check it out but would guess it would work fine. The top piece and end pieces are cast iron the shelf and center would guess at steel. I've tried to show everything in my photo's. Here's an antique original cast iron DAISY NO.2 PAT.1893 portable kerosene cook stove or heating stove over 100 years old. CENTRAL OIL& GAS STOVE CO. DAISY NO.2 PAT MAY 16 1893(all boldly emb on front) This iron stove has double kerosene burners with square iron tank in the base.iron grate top.long oval tin flu vents on side of stove.8 1/2"tall x6"long x 5 1/2"wide.front has a little clip which can be opened to lift the top part of the stove for cleaning. There are two little"hinges" on back which hold it in place tight. But if pivoted, the whole top of the stove can be removed. Cork stopper on kerosene tank opening hole. Excellent condition with no damage or rust. One of the mica heat shields in front is damaged. Both tin flu chimneys are in excellent solid condition with no rust or holes. Very heavy.
