Up for bid is this nice antique gas heater. The only identifying mark on this unit is on the manufacturers tag. The Superior Manufacturing Company Carnegie Penn. Model#7710. The unit measures 23" wide x 20" tall x 9" deep.This unit has been stored in a warehouse and worked when it was put away.The metal does show some surface rust and some dust from storage. All of the ceramic radiants are in tact with no breaks. Radiants will be shipped seperately as they are very fragile* The stone surround is also in tact with no chips or cracks. I have sold a few of these heaters on ebay and have recieved positve feedback on the transaction. All parts seem to be there, some rusting in areas, the top pipe I could not remove so I will have to cut it for shipping and will leave enough to get the pipe wrench on it. Here is a small antique gas porcelain space heater with cast iron feet. I think it was originally the green color. was painted brown, which i am sure can be removed, or the original was the black on the side, i just am not sure. Of course there are some nics on the porcelain in a few spots. Cute little stove. It is about 13 1/2 inches tall& 6 1/2 across. There is a plate on the side, which probably has the maker on it, which is covered up with paint.

An amazing Welsbach Kern cast iron gas mantle burner dating back to the 1870s and the beginnings of gas lighting. This was sold as a fabulous advance in technology casting the light of many candles. This was also a major advancement in safety for that time period so to have one was a true luxury. All taps and valves appear tight and firm but I have not tested this out. The markings. 1918 Lawson No.0 Gas Room Heater/Stove 10 1/2"x 13 1/2"x 5" No Reserve
Lawson gas room heater number"0" Its approx. 10 1/2"x(counting the valve the heater is 7" 13 1/2"x 5" To me it looks to be in very good used condition and the valve turns freely. Everything is original including the wood handle on the valve. It has been painted off white. I'm not that old(but close) but as a kid I remember seeing white and black heaters. On the side has 4 pat. no. starting in 1910 to May 28th 1918. I don't have any gas connections to check it out but would guess it would work fine. The top piece and end pieces are cast iron the shelf and center would guess at steel. I've tried to show everything in my photo's. These are very fragile and more may break before you get it. 800x600 Neat old victorian stove used to heat a parlor or bathroom perhaps. The steel body has a cutout design. The base and top piece and lid are cast iron. It contains a burner mechanism and valve- untested for actual use. The door closes with a turn latch and contains what appears to be the original eisen glass. Two more pieces of eisen glass are in the interior chamber. Near the top is a screwed on plate that reads PATENTED JULY 3194(i.e. July 31, 1894) Over the door it says No. 2 CLEVELAND FDY CO and under the door it reads CLEVELAND O. and below that on the base it reads PURITAN Size: 18" tall to the top of the finial on the lid. Interior chamber is 5 1/2" diameter, about 10" across at the legs. This stove is in really good condition compared to others I have seen for sale. It's a nice size. Antique Jeweled Cast Iron Vulcan W. M. Crane Co. NY. Gas Heater, Stove
This is a great Jeweled Gas Heater made by W. M. Crane Co. New York it is called a Vulcan Heater. The heater has 12 jewels and looks great with a regular light under it I really could not hook it to gas. It seems to be ready to hook up to a gas line I believe it is complete/ It's old on one side in the back there are some dings in the pipe I'm guessing they could be banged out? it also has surface rust but does not look like it has any major pitting. The gas shut off valve moves very nicely so I think it will work fine. It is old there are signs of aging it is not perfect but over all it seem to be in a very fair condition.
