Stove is in good condition. Was appraised by Canadian Antique Stoves. In Kaslo B.C. Canada( For $500.00 in 2007. We used it for a number of years in our family room. It is missing two back legs. Franklin Wood Burning Stove - Fully Restored - An Exquisite Jewel
Fully restored 1875 Franklin'Standard' stove in excellent condition. Cast iron wood-burning stove featuring nickel details including removable faceplate. Also included are two grates and a screen for when the fireplace is operated as an open fire. We have used and enjoyed this stove for the last 12 years and only replaced it because we decided to install a gas fireplace in its old location. The stove was purchase from and restored by Good Time Stove Co in Massachusetts- a company which specializes in cast iron stove restoration. It is in full working order and gives off a powerful amount of heat. Dimensions are 36"high x 24"deep x 28"wide. Included in this deal is the decorative nickel humidifier bowl that sits on the top. We recently bought a house in Florida so we won’t need our stove that we've had for over 30 years. The stove is in good condition and will work with coal or wood. Marked E. Ingalls. Prov. RI. This is a stove from Elisha and Elkanah Ingalls who manufactured stoves in Providence during the 1830's No cracks or visible repairs. Pitting is very light on the bottom plate and outer sides, surface rust on the back is so thin/fine it would disappear with a wire brush in 30 minutes or less. It needs some polishing but will make a beautiful addition to any home looking for an antique wood or coal stove. These stoves sell for $3.000 to $4,000 when fully restored and ... morepolished. All original. You won't find another! Came out of a very old house in CT, Would love to see it fully restored. As is. I have no idea how much it would cost to ship.
