Condition: Used Location: Framingham, United States Up for sale today is an Antique G. F. Filley. St. Louis, Cast Iron Excelsior Parlor Stove. This is a small size stove- without the pipe it stands approx. ... more19" tall x 13 1/4" wide at the front x 25" long overall. It is very decorative, with great designs on the sides and legs. The top is marked"G. F. Filley" St. Louis" while the front is marked"Excelsior" with an 1873 patent date on the door. This stove was repainted at some point in its life. There is some light pitting under the paint, and some light surface rust to the inside and bottom. One front leg has been repaired, and I had to put new bolts in to hold the back legs on. It is missing 2 plates- one on the top where a pot or kettle would go, and one on the front that looks like an ash clean out. You don't often see Filley stoves, and this one is a great small size- a great display piece in a collection! This item is pick up only, though we would gladly work with the buyer any way we can(including taking the stove to the local UPS Store to facility shipping) Check out our pictures and email any questions. This listing is for an authentic vintage cast iron trim part from an antique heating stove. This is the front apron from an OAKLAND NATIONAL No. 162. This stove was made by Excelsior Stove& Mfg Co. of Quincy. Ill. Part measure 4-1/2" tall, and has a length of 16-3/4" measuring on the curve. It has three lugs in back to lock into the stove. Front retains much of original nickel plating, but needs some cleaning. There are no chips, cracks, welds, batters, breaks, or repairs. Piece is on good used condition. Very nice 1919 Excelsior Stove and Manufacturing Company catalog with nice graphics on the front cover. It features many pictures and information on their products including National stoves. Ranges, and furnaces. The office and foundry was located in Quincy, Illinois. The hardbound catalog measures about 10 7/8" by 8" and contains 256 pages. Generally in good condition with a good binding and tight pages. It has a surface tear on the top right of the front cover and edge wear and some light moisture stains on the front and back covers. Along part of the bottom edge of the catalog(mostly on the right) there is some moisture damage on the page edges.

Or damper door measures about 14 1/4" by 6 5/8" total, and covers an opening around 11 1/2" to 12" wide. Basically it's in good shape. But the piece that slides in back has burned out as you can see in the last photo. That could be replaced I'm sure, someone crafty could actually make that piece out of thick steel. It still slides well. Otherwise it has surface rust. Etc, but the pictures are a good representation of the condition. I'm using the postage calculator on this.
