This is a superb little Art Nouveau style log burner by the famous French company Mirus. It dates from sometime in the 1920's. It has been used as you will see from the photos. The enamel has quite a few marks/areas where it has come off(see pictures) however this has not detracted from it's look because it is an antique. Which has been useful. It is green in color. It's modest size means that it will fit quite well into any moderately sized fireplace. It's look is mid way between Art Nouveau and Arts& Crafts which is quite popular. It is completely functional-was used on a regular basis as late as last winter. Note the picture was taken while it was in use in a home. The stove dates back to the early 1900's. It features a warmer at the top with a stove-width roll back door as depicted. The oven works without any obstruction. The nickel ornamentation and fixtures are in original condition and uncleaned for fear of damaging the original patina. This item is for pick-up only and is located in Central Virginia. This Stove was once is magnificent condition. I cooked a vast array of home cooked meals and some of the best baked breads in this stove. It is a light green and cream colored enamel and cast iron stove. I believe it is of the late 1800's but not certain. This stove is a restoration project. It has some missing parts. Rust and chipped enamel and is dirty It was once a glorious stove and well worth the time and expense to fix It was unbeknown to me put outside and has been exposed to weather However it is a great nostalgic piece and can be either restored or simply cleaned and used for décor I have previously used"Stove Black" on the cast iron which makes it look brand new and can be obtained at some hardware stores or online. This is a beautiful. Original vintage enamel cast iron wood burning stove imported from France in perfect, excellent condition. The front reads A M Godin, the height is 48" and the width is 45" The stove is completely functional, uses wood to heat up your house. The decorative cap lifts to cook or boil water on top of the cooking surface. There is a tray inside the stove collecting ashes which makes it easy to clean when it's full. It sits on cast iron enamel legs, has a front tray that can easily be removed and comes with a vintage cast iron lid lifter handle. This is a 1920 Rauschenberg stove made in Belleville. Illinois. The stove uses wood, charcoal& propane. Have not hooked it up to see if propane works, but has all lines for it. Great for any survivalist or preppers out there. Used to heat your house with proper ventilation and could be cooked on. If decided to put back in to original condition could be very neat as well. The stove is very heavy so would like local pick up or might be able to tow with trailer for additional cost.
