1943 Antique Vintage Perfection Stove Co. Square Clear Glass Drip Fuel Bottle
Here is a 1943 vintage/antique cook stove fuel bottle. From Perfection Stove Company, Cleveland, Ohio. The bottle shows a Patent No. 2.319,739. This bottle is a rare and hard to find"square" shape. This is clear glass. And has a ring for carrying. The metal spring valve screw on top is in perfect working condition. The bottle measures 11-1/2" tall(glass only) And a 7" x 5" body. This piece is in good original condition. Showing no cracks, chips, discoloration, or repairs. There are scattered scratches on the glass surfaces, and the interior needs a detailed cleaning. This auction is for a vintage kerosene drip bottle for stoves. From Owens. Ill. Measures approx. 7 1/2" high and 5 3/4" across the bottom. The lid is rusty but still has excellent spring action! Bottle is in excellent(yet dirty) condition. No chips or cracks. Embossed with 18 to the left, 8 underneath and 8 to the right of the trademark. I am not an expert in. anything. Fantastic early 1900's Drip Jar for Kerosene stove! Rare to find in this condition. If at all. Manufactured by the Perfection Stove Company. These stoves virtually heated our entire country until the late 40's when electricity began to replace their use. I have not cleaned the jar as the patina acquired over the years adds to the charm of this lovely piece. Just under 8" tall. Handle is in perfect working order as is the spring loaded drip opening. ANTIQUE KEROSENE DRIP BOTTLE WITH METAL CASING - HANDLE - CAP
On auction today is. An antique kerosene drip jug used to heat or cook with decades ago. To me it looks to be in pretty good condition. It has the metal casing with it still. The bottom is rusty but still in tact. The top is slightly rusted but still functional. The bottle is just under 17 inches tall including the cap but not the plunger at the top and 8 inches wide at the bottom. It has some weight to it. Weighing in at 9 pounds. The bottle measures ~ 10" x 7 1/2" in diameter and weighs 4lbs. The bottle is embossed and reads. TRADEMARK PAT. IN USA, NO 1299914, 1453716 IN ENGLAND 1919 PERFECTION STOVE COMPANY, CLEVELAND, OHIO, MADE IN USA. The bottle features its original filling neck and spring pump cap; the cap can be removed by a coupling rotation. The bottle has a securely attached metal swing handle connected to a metal band around the bottle(see images) The jug is unbroken, does not leak and has no foul smells. There are some light scratches in the glass otherwise the glass is clear and in good condition with original patina. VINTAGE 1919 CLEVELAND METAL PRODUCTS CO. KEROSENE DRIP GLASS BOTTLE/JUG 145874
You are bidding on a Vintage 1919 Glass Kerosene Drip jar/jug manufactured by the Cleveland Metal Products Co. This glass jar/jug was patented Nov. 29. 1917- April 8, 1919. The glass jar has a metal band around the top and appears to be in very good condition. You will notice some wear on the bottom of the jug and I'm not sure if this is just normal wear or there was a repair as the glass appears to have some chipping. The bottom is still intact and this is a really nice and vintage piece in spite of that flaw.
