Vintage Vulcan-Hart US ARMY RANGE wood/gas/coal 8 burner plate cook stove oven
This is the Vulcan-Hart version of the US Army commercial wood/coal kitchen stove originally built by the Garland stove company for the US Government contract. But has many upgrades. This stove has a large commercial size natural gas burner in the firebox, which likely could be rejetted for propane allowing you to use multiple fuel sources(Wood, coal, gas) It also has a built in cast iron water heater heat exchanger in there. It has a brite"US" nameplate which appears to be solid brass and silver accenting on the casting names and rivet heads. The top is 52W X 36D X 33H. It's real cast iron- it weighs in the neighborhood of 400 lbs. The Vulcan-Hart company. With history back to 1865, still makes high quality $$$ commercial stoves today and the quality and lineage of this unit shows. Built in 1951 according to the nameplate on ... morethe side. It came with a 1947 house I purchased last year. According to the 87 year old previous owner, the unit was bought new and placed in the corner of the living room by his aunt during a 1952 renovation and hasn't moved since. He only used it for extra heating in that large room and never recalled actually burning wood in the unit, and I found only evidence of natural gas use. It comes with the stock"tools" poker, scraper etc. The unused heavy-ass firebox grating for burning solids is in the last photo. It was sitting in the bottom of the ash drawer. It is a bit dusty in the photos and it does have a light patina of rust color on the inside but I know most of that is due to the natural gas combustion residue. And there is no ash inside and very little soot in the flue. I decided to leave it all original and not try to restore it as that might change its value and it does in fact need very little cleaning and perhaps some paint inside to make it look like new again. Beautifully restored circa 1923 Bridge Beach. Superior Eureka gas, coal and wood stove. I replated all of the nickel and the original blue and white finish is in beautiful condition, with a few blemishes. I only cooked on the wood side once, but I've used the gas side for the last few years and it works great. The thermostat in gas oven is actually quite accurate. The wood and coal part consists of four burners and the lower oven. Then there are the frour natural gas cooking burners and the one simmer burner on the right side. Up above on the left is the gas oven which is controlled by a very accurate thermostat. On ther right is the gas broiler. It is the most furocious broiler I've ever seen. Take a look at the picture. A group of three antique cast iron stove parts. I am unsure of the exact function of each. They could be lid lifters. Grate shakers, or something else, but they are all stove related. The first piece measures about 8-1/4" long and is marked"140" on the top of the handle. There are some casting marks on the underside of the handle as well. But they are difficult to read. The second piece m easures about 8" long. Has a casting mark on the underside of"B63" and is nickel plated. The third piece m easures about 11-1/2" long and has no casting marks or other identifiers. And is also nickel plated. The parts are used. But in good condition. The plated items do show some plating wear and minor rusting. The pictures show the condition of the items. Up for bid is this vintage No. 60 Atlanta Stove Works pot bellied wood burning/coal stove. This stove is from the early 1900's. Stove is in need of some work. There is one broken foot. i have seen the feet on sale here on eBay) Top lid is also missing, which also can be found on internet, also rust needs taken care of and the little door on front needs a new hinge. You can tell it has been used, but overall its not in too bad of condition. The sizes are about 33 inches tall, 15 inches wide, and about 17 inches deep. These measurements are not exact but are close. This would be a great restoration project. Will look good fixed up. Local pickup only because it is too heavy for me to pack or to find something to pack it in. Please ask any questions prior to bidding.

Up for auction is an antique coal/wood stove shaker. It is about 7" long from the 90 degree bend and the handle is 4" long. It has a chrome color but it is rough, so I can't tell if it has been painted or has been used badly. It is really solid though and ready for use. There is a small chip by the door hinge(see picture) that does not hurt the use of the stove and is not that noticeable. The stove stands approx. 5' 4" tall and is approx. 24" square. It has a cast label that reads"ATLANTIC PORTLAND STOVE Co. around the back is another cast label"Vicking Stove works Newark Ohio" Some pitting to enamel as should be expected. The detachable ornamantation could use a new nickel finish put on and new eisen glass. This stove would be an easy restore. Rare Color.

Antique Cribben & Sexton Gas/Wood/Coal Universal Cook Stove
Antique Cribben and Sexton Stove. I am second owner of this stove tho have stored it for 30 years awaiting purchase of house with a kitchen large enough to accomodate it. I have never used the stove tho cooktop was in use by original owner. Specific date of stove 1915-1918 assuming by patent stamps on various pieces. Issues are predominately with gas supply. The linkage that raises and lowers the oven burner to control oven temperature has snapped tho both cast iron pieces fit and could be welded. The linkage that extends to the front of the stove which allows gas to the oven and broiler is snapped and the front piece is missing(photo) The gas valve to the broiler is missing as is the standard black pipe supply. The firebox liners have been overheated(photo) and do not seem to fit in properly.Homestead stoves for replacements) Also missing ... moreis the firebox shaker. The cast iron vent is intact. Porcelain is good with small chip on one cooktop handle. Only two of the original cooktop grilles available. Oven grates. Broiler trays good, thermometer, and ash pan all good. Expected surface rust on chrome. Great piece that has received much acclaim even tho it sits in my basement. Great for B&B, barn, cabin, etc. I believe restorable with nominal effort.
