Made in the 1920's 30s by SUNGLOW, is in very nice condition for its age. I'm not sure if all of the hardware is original, some nuts and screws may have been replaced over the years. It is about 19 1/2" tall, 20" wide and 5 3/4" deep and weighs about 127 pounds or so. It would look great on a hearth or in front of a fireplace. There is some really nice detail across the front. This is a beautiful and rare piece of history that is very detailed and in very good working condition. Plaque on heater says that this particular radiant parlor stove was made by The Sunbrite Manufacturing Co. in Mansfield. Ohio 1910. Has all original ceramic fire bricks(lattice design) in place and intact. Copper tubing and wonderfully detailed metal work. This piece is very heavy, so buyer is responsible for shipping costs. A fine example of 1920s space heater. It has a clay back with ceramic radiant mantels. This heater is in good shape ready for the cold nights to fill the room with comforting atmosphere. To me it has an Art Deco or prairie style feel. Manufactured by Adams Co Manufacturing of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, it produces 1400 BTU. The Vintage Heater[ Last four pics are taken"looking down" On this unit. Updated pics. I've had questions Re: Black mark" on top of Heater. There is NO HOLE in this unit whatsoever. I spilt a few drops of oil on it and it burned before I could rescue it. The rest of the black stuff in front of the ceramic bricks is just black soot that has accumulated. I cleaned off as much as I dared without scratching up the enamel too bad. But you can clean it up more with a scraper I guess; but it will accumulate with usage.
