HUTCH brand POT BELLY STOVE sold by Lehmans in Kidron OH The stove is solid cast iron and domestically manufactured by Hutch Mfg Co in Loudon. TN. It can be used to burn either wood or coal. This stove is in new unused condition. I purchased it from Lehman Hardware in Kidron. OH in the early 1970's. Shortly after I purchased it we moved to a home with a fireplace and we had no further use for it. It has been stored there in dry conditions in our basement until now. We are downsizing and moving to smaller quarters in the next few months and it is time for a new home for the stove. The dolly casters under the feet& shown in Picture#1 are NOT included in the auction) The stove is approximately 52" tall to the tip of decorative chrome top- 42" to the top of the stove pipe flue- 18" diameter at the top- 18" diameter ... moreat the base- 19" diameter leg to leg- 52" in circumfrence around the firepot. I am not sure of an exact weight but would estimate@ 175-200# The chrome is in mint condition with not even a hint of rust or pitting. The stove iteself is also mint and free of any sign of rust. All parts are there including all covers. Grates and dual purpose lifing handle which serves to lift the lid on top and as a handle for the grate shaker. The stove has draft controls adjustable turn knob on the front door and another adjustable turn knob on the bottom ash compartment. You can also tilt the lid on top tp one side to The stove and its parts are free of defects of any kind. STOVE IS AVAILABLE FOR LOCAL PICKUP ONLY I did not include any shipping terms or cost as part of the auction description. Its 27 inches high and 11 inches wide across the center and has been sitting in my father’s basement for the last 50+ years. So happy to be able to offer this Vintage. SPARK Salesman Sample cast iron potbelly stove. I have owned this stove for many years but never cleaned it up, displayed or used it. The man I bought it from had a Thrift/Swap Shop and the girl he bought it from had been using it to cook or warm food on. Actually, it had ashes in it when I bought it. There are still signs of ashes in it. Stamped Grey Iron Casting Co. Mt. Joy. Pa. on the underside of the burner lid. Had to clean the soot off to be able to make it out the mark. Size: Stove is 13½" tall to the flat part. 24" with the 12" chimney part. Chimney part is cut at the top for inserting into the next section of chimney. Chimney is tin. About 9¼" around the belly. Foot to foot across the front is 8¼" and front to back is 9" Weight: 14# Nice designs ... moreon the legs and flat parts. Condition: Original black paint in time-worn condition. The paint on the belly part evidently has burned off and there is minor rust on the metal in this area. Minor rust in other areas. Do not believe there is any damaging rust but the lid on the burner has rust that may have pitted the surface. The dampers work properly. But the small damper door on the belly part is a little hard to open, may just need some oil. I show a section on the back where there are small indention/ holes in the casting process, either air bubble or defect in the casting mold. Very sound condition. No breaks. I offer flat rate shipping which. I am sure is well under what it will cost to ship. If shipping figures $2.00 less than the flat rate, I will refund the difference to your Pay Pal account. This particular stove has been used.the remnants of soot. Etc. still show in the photos. These little stoves were made by Grey Casting Company in Mount Joy. PA as replicas that salesmen would take to potential customers. They were produced with all working parts. The shaker grate empties into the cleanout. The drafts can be adjusted and all the doors open. The top plate can be taken off and you can actually connect it to a stove pipe. It stands 13 1/2" tall x 8" wide from foot to foot and 9" deep from foot to foot. CONDITION: This stove does show signs of being used and also has some surface rust. Thanks for looking at this awesome vintage Cast Iron Spark Pot Belly Stove. This salesman sample stove was made by the Grey Iron Casting company of Mt. Joy Pa. as marked on the inside. It stands just 14 inches high and is all cast iron. It is in excellent condition. No cracks. It has a round air adjuster on top, a sliding one on the front door and a lever on the right side which rotates the grate on the inside, as shown both doors open and are useable. All work fine. For sale; This superb example of an old antique cast iron stove/ heater. This piece is original and complete with all pieces and accessories including all of the chrome plated accents. This was made in the USA. It is very old but I do not know how old. I bought it because I was decorating an old home I was remodeling. This was close to 30 years ago I think. I have never used it. I have had it on display in my enclosed patio as a piece of art from the old west. I had considered actually putting it to use as a heater for the space but never did so. Recently we have decided to do a complete remodel and the stove no longer goes with the decor of the new remodeled space. So it is up for sale. It is my understanding that keeping it in its original condition and with the original finish maximizes its value as a collectable. This is a beautiful piece fit for any home or collection with a common theme. I bought this here in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado from an antique dealer. It measures 8 1/4" high and is in very good condition with only minor marks hear and there, there is a black nail being used for the pivot pin on the top door, I believe that's a replacement. Thank you for viewing my auction. Please read before bidding. This is for a local pick up only. This auction is for an ornate GEM OAK Victorian Cast Iron Stove made by the Toledo Stove. Company. Number of the stove model is No 114. Stove was kept in a family room for many years and is in good working order. Item shows some signs of rust along the bottom. See pictures for more details. It is in beautiful condition and would clean up nice. It is very dusty in spots. It is very ornate and the finial and other iron work on the piece are really in great condition. I do not know how old the piece is. Some light research on the Toledo Stove Company would probably date this piece to the early 1900s. Owner has had the piece in the family for generations and it has been gently used. Kept mostly as a decorative piece in the family room. You will notice ... moretwo holes, one on each side of the loading doors. These were to hang utensils/tools to stoke or control the fire in the stove. A small shovel and poker.
