It is in Excellent Vintage condition- Very Stout- has just light surface rust that will easily remove with a bit of sanding& quite a bit of the original Black paint still remains on the underside. An additional embellishment would be the three White Porcelain Knobs which move smoothly. This Stove also comes with it's original corrugated metal Hose Connector& can be used with gas or propane by changing out the Brass Orifice at the end of the Black Tube in front of the White Knobs. The gentleman that I purchased this from is the one who had purchased it at the Estate auction around 1996. With the intent on installing it in his older Shelbyville home's kitchen which was undergoing a restoration. Anyway, he decided to go a different direction on the appliances, and that is when I came to own this remarkable stove. It was late 1996 when I purchased it. And the gentleman to me a story that I must pass on to you. The lady who originally bought this stove had used it daily since new, but being in her late 80's and a widow was pressured by her family to get a"new fangled" stove with autopilot features as they were concerned for her safety with a standing pilot light, and they were even going to pay for it. She refused over and over again until finally one day she said she would accept a"new" stove as long as they had"her" trusty companion"stove" installed down in the basement so that she could cook her Holiday dinner on her own stove. And so it would be! But when the kids were cleaning up the her old house for the estate sale. They noticed how clean the"new" stove was, and came to the conclusion that she had in fact not been using it at all, but going up and down the basement stairs everyday until her death. HMMMMMph? Anyway. When I purchased this in 1996, I took to the local appliance store for a"once over" cleaning, inspection, tune-up as well as having the oven controller removed and sent out to the Tulsa Stove Hospital to have it re-calibrated. I also had the top burners and grate re-porcelained by a company in Tennessee. I was having a"new" Victorian Country built, and this was installed upon moving in. This is a nice old group of 4 cast iron wood or coal burner grates. They are 3 3/4" tall. The back is 2" wide, front is 1 1/2" wide at the top and about 1 1/4" wide at the bottom. Several of these form a circle in the burner area, they are in great shape, no chips or cracks. This looks good. Items as pictured. I have other vintage items. Vintage Griswold Cast Iron # 402 Double Burner Gas Stove with Porcelain Knobs
Up for bids is a vintage cast iron double burner gas stove with porcelain knobs that was made by Gridwold and is marked as pictured. The stove measures 17 1/2" long by 9 1/2" wide across the top and stands 5 1/2" high. It is in very nice condition with no missing parts. These were made to operate on natural gas but can be converted over very easily to run on propane gas. You will need to find a propane gas regulator and hose that will hook up to a propane bottle and attach them to the gas line on the stove. These can be taken off of an old propane fired grill or they can be purchased new at most hardware stores. Vintage Griswold#502 Camp Stove Ornate cast iron details with beautiful patina One rear leg appears to have fallen off at some point and then welded back on. The weld is old but is very solid and blends right in with the rest of the stove. The right wooden knob is a bit tight when turning but the left knob turns easily. I do not have any means of testing this stove to see if it still works but all pieces appear to be intact. Measures approximately 20" x 10" x 5" high Made by the Griswold Mfg. Co. Vintage Griswold Cast Iron # 320 Double Burner Gas Stove with Porcelain Knobs
Up for bids is a vintage Griswold 320 cast iron double burner gas stove with porcelain knobs and stand. The stove measures 19 1/2" long by 9 1/2" wide across the top and stands 20 high. No breaks. No cracks. It is in very nice condition with no missing parts. The legs are original and the shelf is new. Original shelf was in poor condition so I had a sheet metal company make a new one) I cleaned and wire brushed and painted the cast iron. The stove was painted with 2000 degree paint and baked as per instruction of the use of the paint. All screws were replaced with original looking ones. I have not tested this stove. It should work. May need some adjustment to the air/gas valves. The porcelain knobs are original and turn on and off as they should. As seen in the W. Bingham Co. catalog dated 1939-1940 and sold then for $3.35. Open ornate upright parlor stove. The New Method Co. was founded in the latter 1880s, and was soon related to the Baxter Stove Co. both in Mansfield, Ohio. Around 1904, owner Berry Baxter decided to sell stoves in California, but the heavy cast iron was expensive to ship, meaning overpriced stoves. The answer was a steel stove, lighter in weight than cast-iron models. Our shinning stove is a cast iron& plated steel hybrid, which indicates the Baxter influence. Our gorgeous Victorian footed style heater has its square patterned covered firebox filled with gas refractory pretzels, for a fine glow and proper diffusion of heat. La Salamandre Louis XVI Art Nouveau Wood burner By: E Chaboche of Paris"La Salamandre" Louis XVI" French wood/coal burning stove by E Chaboche of Paris. From the Art Nouveau period, manufactured sometime between 1906 and 1940 This is an Argentine cast iron reproduction of the Rolls Royce of wood burning stoves. From the moment that Edward Chaboche released his first Salamandre model the"Premier Modèle" or"Modèle Rond" in 1883, he wiped the floor with all of the competition, and continued to do so right up to the fall ... moreof France in 1940. Every one of his competitors would design and release on to the market a similar design, but none were as successful as Chaboche. This Louis XVI model is in first class condition and has the"nickelled" option which made it a cut above the Jones's(or Lefevre's! It would enhance any period drawing room. Dining room. Antique CAST IRON & PORCELAIN Small Gas Space HEATER Stove
Here is a small antique gas porcelain space heater with cast iron feet. I think it was originally the green color. was painted brown, which i am sure can be removed, or the original was the black on the side, i just am not sure. Of course there are some nics on the porcelain in a few spots. Cute little stove. It is about 13 1/2 inches tall& 6 1/2 across. There is a plate on the side, which probably has the maker on it, which is covered up with paint.

UNUSUAL 1900 WELSBACH KERN ART NOUVEAU PORCELAIN CAST IRON MINIATURE GAS STOVE
Offered for sale is a Welsbach Kern miniature dark green porcelain over cast iron gas stove circa 1900. The porcelain has a crown top in front and tendrils of flowers on each side. The legs are slightly flared and ribbed and have a"cathedral window" shape. These stoves were used in small areas and a kettle could be placed at the top for heating. This stove is 12-3/4" tall and 8-1/4" wide(not including the gas pipe) The"face" of the stove is cream colored porcelain or ceramic in a brick work pattern. The cream ceramic has chips. Discoloration and crazing from use(see photos) There are 2 brass knobs on the front of the stove which possibly held a grate(not available) although we are not certain that it had a grate. The reverse is flat back and shows signs of use(see photos) There are some minor chips in the green ... moreenamel around the legs and one near the front(see photos) there is some rust and carbon in areas which had heat, otherwise, it is in good condition. The stove has"KERN" on the front. On the back is"Welsbach" and the registry number 365450(in 2 places) +"No. 0.19" The original piping is attached; however. The handle does not turn. We do not know if the stove works and do not believe it should be hooked up without a professional assessment. There are no guarantees or warranties on the mechanical aspects of this stove. She kept it in good condition, painting it regularly with"Black Silk" Stove Polish. Along with the four regular burners, it has a UNIQUE COFFEE WARMER(see picture#5) The stove has a big white pull-out crumb catcher. The metal sheet that the crumb catcher sits on has some rust holes. The oven has two shelves and eight positions. The stove stop itself measures 26" across. With the two side panels up it measures 35" across. It is 25" deep and 32" high. The oven door is 22" wide. Up for bid is this Vintage cast iron and porcelain gas stove. It has Republic in front of the oven door. I don't know much about it. It's had some repairs to it. If you look at picture#8 of the grill you will see some repairing to it. If you look at picture#3 you can see that it has a hole towards the back of the oven. It has some surface rust. Would come off with oven cleaner or some focused flaking with a pointed stick and soap and water. Unhooked four years ago. Was hooked up and functional for the previous 75+ years.
