It is very rusty so you can hardly see the original surface. But the wonderful embossed designs stand out dramatically, nevertheless. The door has a sliding vent with a knob as well as a latch knob. I'm not sure of the brand of stove that it was part of as there are no marks that I can see to identify it. Restoring this piece to a working stove would be great, but it could also be repurposed as interior or garden wall decor. The rusty patina is super attractive and I have left it as it was found. Measurements are about 12-3/4” overall width(including the latch& hinge brackets) or 10-7/8" for just the door x 8" height. Group of 3 Antique Cast Iron Wood Coal Stove Lid Lifters, Grate Shakers, Etc.
A group of three antique cast iron stove parts. I am unsure of the exact function of each. They could be lid lifters. Grate shakers, or something else, but they are all stove related. The first piece measures about 8-1/4" long and is marked"140" on the top of the handle. There are some casting marks on the underside of the handle as well. But they are difficult to read. The second piece m easures about 8" long. Has a casting mark on the underside of"B63" and is nickel plated. The third piece m easures about 11-1/2" long and has no casting marks or other identifiers. And is also nickel plated. The parts are used. But in good condition. The plated items do show some plating wear and minor rusting. The pictures show the condition of the items.
