Originally intended for a wood burning stove in a master bedroom, this stove was never installed and served as an ornam ent on our fir eplace. The 2 front decorative doors ne ar the top slide open- outwards to al low for small loaf pans to be set on a ceramic brick for baking bread and other food items. The lower fuel area ha s a gr ate. And ash pan to catch embers which may fall forward. The stove top has two 6" burners for cooking and heating. A decorative filigree cover is used on top when not in use or to cover breads o r other i tems while warming. This is a fully functioning replica of what pioneers used while travel ing cross country in a covered wagon. All dimensions give are approximate and may vary slightly. I bought this about 10 yrs ago at a local auction, I knew I had to have it for my house, the kitchen, I wanted always to have it hooked up and use it through those long cold winter nights here in Pa, just toss a log or two inside and the night is mine, both nostalgia and practicality, well that didn't happen but wasn't the thought nice. LOL. I remember using a wire brush to wipe away all the dirt, soot, build up from burning etc. wiped it down and have done nothing else to the stove since. I still love this stove for heat source and you can cook on top of it too, like boil water, stew pot. All pcs work and there are many different arms that open close, slide and vent. All is here no cracks anywhere it's on legs which makes ... moreit ideal for displaying on a fireproof designed floor bed, it looks amazing. It speaks a many late night story over coffee or belting down a shot after hours of shoveling the driveways and walkways. I can't give you an extact lbs but you'll need minimum of two just to lift and three or better to raise onto a flat bed of a truck, it fits into a van quite easily due to it's compact size. 29 inches tall and sets up 6 1/2 inches off the floor level on legs,sets within a floor space of 20 inches x 20 inches. Antique SPARK Cast Iron Salesman Sample Wood Burning Pot Belly Stove- This is a nice little stove that could almost be considered a toy. Except for the fact that it actually works. This particular stove has been used.the remnants of soot. Etc. still show in the photos. These little stoves were made by Grey Casting Company in Mount Joy. PA as replicas that salesmen would take to potential customers. They were produced with all working parts. The shaker grate empties into the cleanout. The drafts can be adjusted and all the doors open. The top plate can be taken off and you can actually connect it to a stove pipe. It stands 13 1/2" tall x 8" wide from foot to foot and 9" deep from foot to foot. CONDITION: This stove does show signs of being used and also has some surface rust. One of its legs has a broken piece up under the body ... moreat a point that would hold it in place by the nut. It still stands. But that point could be repaired. It stands fine as it is, though. This wonderful rare little Pot Belly Stove is a Wood Burner. It was most likely used in a commercial Laundry. But it may have been able to be purchased for home use as well. For someone who needed a lot of Irons hot at once for pressing clothes. The stove is here with our friends in MIchigan. We are selling it for them on a limited showing. The stove comes with all the irons in the picture. It is a fairly small stove that will go in many areas. Will throw quite a bit of heat. Antique Victorian Wood Burning Pot Belly Parlor Stove
This is the Wisdom Oak No. 15. Model No. 159 by Wehrle. The stove is in good used condition; all doors are in working condition, no exterior/interior cracks, has only minor observable rust(underside of foot rails) and is all original. It has been refurbished following it's last use(twenty five years ago) and has been used as a room adornment only since. Stove is still fully functional for use as is if desired. Stove measures a total height of 48 inches to the top of the nickle finial, 13 inches wide at the base by 22 1/2 inches deep. The weight is estimated to be in the 90 to 100 pound range. Classic cylinder(pot belly) design.cast iron with nickle(chrome? top trim and three removable 15 inch long foot rails. It has a cook lid beneath the swing top dome and finial which allows for heating water and for humidifying the room. Up for bid is the decorative top for an antique wood burning cast iron pot belly stove. It is 19 1/2" tall and the base is 11 5/8 x 9 1/4" The top finial part is cast iron. The vase shaped part is made of metal, the larger base is cast iron. The base part was nickel plated with much of the plate rusted or missing. I can find no makers mark. Wehrle Cast Iron Antique Victorian Wood Burning Pot Belly Parlor Stove
This is a large. 58" tall, antique cast iron stove. Produced by Wehrle. This is their Model Number 18. It certainly must have been a top of the line model given all of the fancy Art Nouveau cast decoration. It disassembles into very manageable sections. So. Potentially, one person could move and install this. Although, I don't believe that I want to crate up that many pieces of cast iron and trust it to a shipping company, given how fragile cast iron can be. So, either you can come pick it up, make arrangements with an independent shipper, or perhaps, I may even be able to deliver it to you. I would say that the condition is pretty good. These are defects that I have noticed: The finial. The little adornment at the very top of the stove, is bent off center and it is missing one of it's flanking arms. The trim that goes around ... morethe belly is cracked in several places. All the pieces are there and they match up pretty tight when reassembled. They will even stay snug to the stove in the condition that they are in. But again, there are several fractures that segment that piece of trim all the way around the circumference of the stove. There is some corrosion at the pot belly. Where there is a seam between the upper and lower sections. I do not see any clearly evident holes. There are three pieces of trim that rest into the brackets that go around the stoves belly. But until those get repaired, I didn't want to attach them. I have a ton of more pictures available.
