I just cant tell for certain. Absolutely LOOKS porcelain but the weight of just under 11# made me question it. I have another listed that is porcelain and it weighs more. Unit is 20”x10” and about 3.5” tall. Two metal ringless burner pads are clean and free from damage or rust. Temp control setting on the face is darn cute! LOL Two separate burner settings. One for each pad, offer Low, Med and High setting. I get heat from high and med, but none from low. Possibly thats something you can adjust. I am stupid and scared with electronics. Westinghouse logo on the front screams 1954! But I am not certain of the age. The bottom has engraved: Westinghouse. Mansfield, OHIO. Cat. No. HP-521, 115 Volts, 1650 watts, AC ONLY There are 4 rubber toes to keep it stationary. The cover. Be it porcelain or enamelware is STELLAR clean with no chips, cracks or cooked-on icky stuff. Slightest signs of use. Fabric wrapped cord and solid plug. I note a small piece of tape at the base but when peeled back. I cant see why it was placed there. This presents beautifully! As with all vintage electronics this is offered as is without warranty. This is 11# before packing so please expect this to weigh close to 16-18 pounds as I will OVER pack this so when the UPS gorillas drop it from an 8’ conveyor it wont damage the finish. If possible I will double box. I am sorry about the weight/ shipping but my goal is to preserve this incredible piece. IF YOU ARE LOWER 48 USA. YOUR SHIPPING WILL BE ACTUAL AND NOT MORE THAN $20.00. The gentleman that I purchased this from is the one who had purchased it at the Estate auction around 1996. With the intent on installing it in his older Shelbyville home's kitchen which was undergoing a restoration. Anyway, he decided to go a different direction on the appliances, and that is when I came to own this remarkable stove. It was late 1996 when I purchased it. And the gentleman to me a story that I must pass on to you. The lady who originally bought this stove had used it daily since new, but being in her late 80's and a widow was pressured by her family to get a"new fangled" stove with autopilot features as they were concerned for her safety with a standing pilot light, and they were even going to pay for it. She refused over and over again until finally one day she said she would accept a"new" stove as long as they had"her" trusty companion"stove" installed down in the basement so that she could cook her Holiday dinner on her own stove. And so it would be! But when the kids were cleaning up the her old house for the estate sale. They noticed how clean the"new" stove was, and came to the conclusion that she had in fact not been using it at all, but going up and down the basement stairs everyday until her death. HMMMMMph? Anyway. When I purchased this in 1996, I took to the local appliance store for a"once over" cleaning, inspection, tune-up as well as having the oven controller removed and sent out to the Tulsa Stove Hospital to have it re-calibrated. I also had the top burners and grate re-porcelained by a company in Tennessee. I was having a"new" Victorian Country built, and this was installed upon moving in. Vintage original 1920's 1930's gas stove knobs- these are used black and chrome stove knobs. There are four burner control knobs, one oven control( knob and three timer/clock knobs. All appear to be black Bakelite. The four burner control knobs have centered stems that are for"D" gas stems. They have holes on one side that are not threaded for set screw. Black painted stripe on the chrome metal face. Face length is approximately 2 inches. Hole diameter appears to be approximately 5/16" The large round oven knob is approx 2.25" diameter, had D shaft and unthreaded side hole for set screw. Small 3 round knobs are approximately 3/4" diameter each is for different shaft. These are in very good original condition with some minor chipping to edges of the set screw holes.
