Also marked"Charter ... moreOak St Louis" on back. It is big and heavy. Made of cast iron it is about 40 inches wide. 25 inches deep(excluding handles on front and excluding pipe connector on rear) It is about 32 inches tall at the grill plus 20 inches for the backsplash for a total overall of 52 inches tall. I did not have a scale to weigh this on but it is very heavy. Firebox has some damages(photo#7) Ash pan needs replaced. Small piece broke off backsplash mounting arm(far left bottom in photo#3. Backsplash is still solidly attached) Left side of pipe connector is cracked(photo#12) Left side door needs a catch. Oven door is set up with a spring closure which needs adjusted. Other rather minor flaws. All four legs are good. Porcelain/enamel is nice with some rather minor blemishes. Water heater and fold out spigot are good. Has all of the hot plate lids and burners. Sold as a display/collector item. It probally needs some repairs before it would be safe/wise to use. See photos for condition. Contact me for payment methods at time of pick-up. Very Xtra Heavy and big. For local pickup only. In Sullivan Missouri, within 15 days of purchase. I do not recommend trying to get a freight company to haul this for you. It is in Excellent Vintage condition- Very Stout- has just light surface rust that will easily remove with a bit of sanding& quite a bit of the original Black paint still remains on the underside. An additional embellishment would be the three White Porcelain Knobs which move smoothly. This Stove also comes with it's original corrugated metal Hose Connector& can be used with gas or propane by changing out the Brass Orifice at the end of the Black Tube in front of the White Knobs. This Stove is great for canning, or for when you're camping or just to cook on- it's quite handy to have around& is in overall terrific shape with no notable breaks, damage or repairs of any kind- just some minor superficial rust! I have here a(Home Comfort) grey granite wood cook stove. This antique cook stove was constructed in early 1930s and is still in very good usable condition. The stovepipe is in great working order with a 6-inch opening on top. Wrought-iron Range Company. Number C A. St. Louis. Missouri. All doors and drawer work great including the cast-iron cook surface openings. Handle included. The fire box itself is in great condition and won't need to be repaired anytime soon. Walls and grate are still thick. The measurements are: S tove top cooking surface height 33 inches. Stove top surface 33 inch by 28 inch. Overall height 62 inches. Overall wi dth 55 inches. This stove comes with a removable towel/apron rod in the front and also has a removable side addition with a towel/apron rod. Very nice features. There are. At which time it was placed in dry storage with the metal surfaces coated in paraffin wax to preserve the finish and protect from corrosion. Antique Cribben and Sexton Stove. I am second owner of this stove tho have stored it for 30 years awaiting purchase of house with a kitchen large enough to accomodate it. I have never used the stove tho cooktop was in use by original owner. Specific date of stove 1915-1918 assuming by patent stamps on various pieces. Issues are predominately with gas supply. The linkage that raises and lowers the oven burner to control oven temperature has snapped tho both cast iron pieces fit and could be welded. The linkage that extends to the front of the stove which allows gas to the oven and broiler is snapped and the front piece is missing(photo) The gas valve to the broiler is missing as is the standard black pipe supply. The firebox liners have been overheated(photo) and do not seem to fit in properly.Homestead stoves for replacements) Also missing ... moreis the firebox shaker. The cast iron vent is intact. Porcelain is good with small chip on one cooktop handle. Only two of the original cooktop grilles available. Oven grates. Broiler trays good, thermometer, and ash pan all good. Expected surface rust on chrome. Great piece that has received much acclaim even tho it sits in my basement. Great for B&B, barn, cabin, etc. I believe restorable with nominal effort. This Stove was once is magnificent condition. I cooked a vast array of home cooked meals and some of the best baked breads in this stove. It is a light green and cream colored enamel and cast iron stove. I believe it is of the late 1800's but not certain. This stove is a restoration project. It has some missing parts. Rust and chipped enamel and is dirty It was once a glorious stove and well worth the time and expense to fix It was unbeknown to me put outside and has been exposed to weather However it is a great nostalgic piece and can be either restored or simply cleaned and used for décor I have previously used"Stove Black" on the cast iron which makes it look brand new and can be obtained at some hardware stores or online. I just fell in love with it! It has many original parts and also partially restored to the areas that needed it and is fully functional. The black cast iron parts were repainted and highly polished with the appropriate high temp tube paint and all of the nickel has been buffed to an original like new chrome looking glow. The cookstove and crossbars were redone so that the cookstove has a nice clean flat cooking surface. The firebox was also reconfigured so that it is nice and angular and works with ease. Since ... morethe restoration it has been used and put to the test and works like new. It has 6 burners and a decent amount of oven space. One of the burners also has different circular openings so that you can use different size pots on it for cooking. Not only does this antique cook stove fully fuctional but it also is a great form of heat for your home or cabin during the cold months. It's a two for one.the best of both worlds.cooking and heating! This stove comes with a little extra also. It comes with a slate base with a maple wood riser that you can see in the pictures. That measures approx. 40" wide x 26" deep x 5" high. This gives the stove a little extra height to make it easier when you are cooking on it. The stovepipe that you see can actually be increased or reduced for whatever your particular needs are. The height of it now is approx. 38" from the stove shelf to the top. You are bidding on a Vintage 1910 Great Majestic wood/coal burning stove by The Majestic MFG CO. out of St. Louis Missouri U.S.A. This piece has a great look and I believe for the most part is complete other than oven rack. This stove is clearly dated september of 1910(see picture) The exact measurements are 61" tall. 36" wide and 27" in depth. There is heavy rust on inside and not so much on outside, and a small crack on one of the small front plates, but piece is not missing and can be welded(see picture) but not so bad for being 113 years old. There is an advertisement"MAJESTIC LOGO" which is oven temprature gauge and needle, both glass and advertismen are in tact and look great. Advertisement has a great look as it is a very antique lookin clipper ship. All doors and latches open just fine and all grill plates ... moreare there(also including 3 plate rods for lifting plates up) This is a great collectors piece for display and if really serious i'm sure this can be restored. I have all inside racks and plates in boxes for transportation reasons as this stove is EXTREMELY HEAVY as it is made of cast iron. Antique Home Comfort Coal / Wood Cook Stove
Nice early 1900's Home Comfort cookstove. I bought it out of a hunting cabin years ago and until recently cooked on it and heated a portion of our house with it. I replaced several of the firebox liners(available from Lehman's. Kidron Ohio) Epoxy matrix repaired one warming oven door hinge, and installed a stainless steel liner to the oven. The hot water tank is presently located on the left side of the stove and the copper liner is intact with no holes but there is rust along the bottom lip of the tank that supports the liner. I didn't hesitate to burn coal in this stove but as with any antique appliance, the new owner will do so at their own risk. All in all, I think it is in better shape than most of the similar stoves on eBay and that there are years of service left in this beauty. The embossing on the handle is too weak for me to read so I am unable to connect it with a particular maker or era. It's obviously an older piece. The lifter is about 8-3/4 inches long and weighs about 7 ounces. I can't find the slightest damage beyond light use marks and some surface roughness. Likely from the original casting. The end of lifting lug is about 7/8 by 3/8 by 1/8 inches, and tapers. These can sometimes be ground a bit to fit a particular eye. The square end is about 1/2 by 5/8 inches. These were sometimes used to adjust internal oven vents in cookstoves as well. I've posted lots of pictures so you can look it over. John Deere wood cook stove. As far as I can see it is missing 1 support brace for the lids I use to have it but must have got lost in the move.If I find it I will ship it for free. The wood box it pretty well wore out as is the top vent box but that is just sheet metal and can be replaced. The stone has six places for heating panda and an oven the doors have built in thermometers the stove has the model number 380 cast into the top, and the oven doors says model F. Antique Vintage Independent Stove Renown Green & Cream Wood Gas-Fired Cook Stove
This stove was manufactured by the Independent Stove Company in Owosso. MI most likely in the mid to late 1930's. This combination wood gas stove also most likely used coal and oil as well. The porcelain enamel jadeite green and cream finish is in excellent condition for being almost 80 years old with very few chips/scratches on the upper shelf(which is detachable) and a more noticeable large chip on the removable burner cover(pictured) The on/off/kindler knob appears to be missing but is still functional. Cooktop: cover has large chip. Burners all appear to be in working order and free of rust but have not been tested. The drip pan beneath the burners appears to be a little rusty. This model could have used oil or gas for fuel. Oven: features an external American Thermostat Company thermostat that reads from 200 to 650 degrees. There ... moreare 2 original oven shelves included. There is some rust on the bottom. Which is to be expected with any surface that comes into contact with fire, as well as the shelf slides. The handle is missing for the oven coal grate in the bottom of the oven. Wood burner: Handles are missing for both wood loading grates. The fire box appears to be rusty as well as the ash box below. Which is to be expected on surfaces that come in contact with fire. Wood burner controls seem to be in working order but have not tested. Stovepipe manifold: is rusty and part of the stovepipe manifold appears to have broken into two pieces. There is one screw that would hold it together on one side if it weren't so rusty. There are two additional metal pieces that appear to be for the manifold but there may be pieces missing. There are rust spots on the back of the stove. The gas/oil supply line has been cut but the fittings are still in place(see pic) Company History: The Independent Stove Company began in Detroit in 1905 and moved to Owosso in 1908. Antique wood cook stove restored. I paid $3500. Free Delivery
The pictures were taken before we sold our house 1 year ago. The stove had to be disassembled into 3 pieces so it would fit through the door. It did not fit the decor of the new house on the lake so. It was put into our storage garage. When it was in the house, the Nickel feet and the chrome peices never needed polished. I have noticed since it is in our storage garage it will need to be repolished. The shine is still the same but you get some little specs. The same specs I get on the chrome on my Silverado Z71. It will polish right off. I paid $3500 dollars for this restored antique stove. Last year there was one just like it on ebay and they were asking $3,500 plus over $1,000.00 shipping. We acquired this stove from an elderly woman's farm house that she used to cook and heat her house with up until she passed away 4 years ago, we were going to install it in our log home but my family and I are all disabled now and we can't move or lift any thing heavy or do any repairs to our home so its just stored away in our garage covered up. Unique antique wood burning cook stove with hot water reservoir and overhead warming ovens. Two-tone blue enamel. Made by Montgomery Wards. Pioneer-Windsor P85R. I believe it is from 1920-1930’s era. I could not find another one like it from my searches on the web. Great working condition. We used it to heat the porch/kitchen for several years. Piece of door to wood/ash pan has broken off in the upper left corner and has a crack on the bottom. Top plate also has a crack near front(see pictures) Local pickup preferred.
